• Pyrolysis is the chemical decomposition of organic materials by
heating in the absence of oxygen or any other reagents, except
possibly steam. This is made in hermetically sealed, indirectly heated
rotary kilns which will chemically convert and to produce gas and
coke.
• This synthetic gas will be used as fuel to fire-up the Capstone
Microturbine generator to produce electricity. Capstone Microturbine
is a USA Green Technology product with more than 5000 unit
operating globally. This combined Pyrolysis System with Capstone
Microturbine Generators formed an Integrated Waste to Energy
concept, an innovative approach to convert waste into energy-
electricity.

Before getting into the Fast-Pyrolysis equipment, waste must be going into Pre-
Treatment process, for the simplification and optimization of Fast-Pyrolysis
process. In the Pre-Treatment, waste is dried to reduce the water content and
sorted to separate Combustible and Non-Combustible waste. It is conducted by
Waste Sorting Unit.

Capstone is the world’s largest manufacturer of microturbines. The Company
was founded in 1988, chartered to conduct research and to develop and
manufacture high-technology turbine products and to offer high-technology
services. Today, Capstone is the leading microturbine manufacturer with more
than 5,000 units operating. Capstone’s microturbines have accumulated over
25,000,000 hours of experience. Capstone microturbine can be used in various
applications include power generation, cogeneration, secure power, resource
recovery, and hybrid electric vehicle. The turbine itself will run continuously 24/7
(availability 98-99%), will operate in Grid Connect mode while it is connected to
an electric grid, and to operate in Stand Alone mode if it becomes disconnected
from the grid. It’s also lower maintenance interval to once every 8000 hours and
the absence of oil or coolant.
