What is Cashback to the Future?Want to develop skills in art, music, performance, drama or digital skills? Whatever your level of experience in these areas, Cashback to the Future is for you!

Cashback to the Future is a four-week celebration of young people’s creativity and imagination, running from July 2nd - July 27th 2018 in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Renfrewshire and Ayrshire.

Workshops are entirely free and will run from Tuesday - Friday, 10am - 4pm.

The Breakdown, Week By Week

Week One: Getting to Know Each OtherFun, engaging workshops aimed at bringing the group closer together and finding out what we want to get out of the programme.

Week Two: A Skills MasterclassGet an in-depth introduction to your chosen artform and work on creative projects, directed by you, that will help you gain skills and confidence.

Week Three: Inspiration & TripsBrainstorming workshops focussing on the performance and exhibitions taking place the following week, and a trip to venues that will spark some inspiration.

Week Four: Showcase Week!Take part in rehearsals, building up to the big day on Friday, when the groups in each area will take part in a final showcase and exhibit work produced over the past month.

Additional funding and support comes from National Museum of Scotland and the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Young Roots Fund.
