Michigan Mardi Gras February 18, 2012 After 5pm Mass
Let’s celebrate Michigan! The State not the University!
Come and spend time in joyous fellowship at this family
celebration! It will be all things Michigan including Vernors
and Faygo Floats! For the main dish we are looking at Detroit
vs. Flint Coney Dogs as well as a savory Michigan Macaroni
and Cheese with savory apples for those that do not prefer
meat. We may also have delicious Pasties, but we are still
working out the details. Dig out your favorite “Michigan”
recipe to bring for your dish to pass!
Cost: Free will donation for main dish, drinks and floats as
well as bring a dish to pass. (any type of dish including
desserts and sides are fine.)
Time: After 5pm Mass
Ways to get involved:
Volunteers to help plan, decorate, set up and clean up.
Volunteers to help serve and/or cook the main dish.
Any Michigan type décor we can borrow!
Other stewardship opportunities available - call to share your
talents. Contact Rebecca Keiser at 734-878-2217 ext. 203 or

Annual Auction
Saturday, April 28, 2012
6:00pm
Have you saved the date yet? This is the largest
fundraiser for our school. If you are not familiar, the
annual auction is the continuation of what used to be the
annual dinner dance founded by the Dible family. The
Dible family established a school scholarship fund in the
memory of Rick Dible, a parish member who felt very
strongly about education rooted in our faith. Even now,
a portion of the auction proceeds goes to help fund the
Dible Scholarship fund.
So, as we continue to remember our humble
beginnings and look forward to a future of endless
possibilities, we ask that you become a part of our
family and attend our auction and enjoy a night of
fellowship to continue the catholic education of our
children.
You may go to our website at:
auction.stmarypinckney.org to purchase tickets or make
donations. Please share the website with family and
friends.

We thank you for your prayer, and for your deep desire that was fulfilled when our Savior came. Pray for us. May we constantly thank God for coming into the world to be with us. Like you, may we become a sign of hope for others in the world so they too will seek the Lord and wait for his coming. Amen.
