ARCUS, known internationally as Electrolooch, was born out of necessity in 1889, a time when innovation

completely changed the way we used lighting in our daily lives. In 1876 Russian inventor and entrepreneur,

Pavel Yablochkov created a device called the Yablochkov Candle. It was based on the Carbon Arc Lamp,

however Yablochkov improved upon it. It was first demonstrated for street and theatre illumination during the

Paris Exhibition of 1878, notably on the Avenue de l'Opéra. Because of the Yablochkov Candle the first electric

street lights were created and by 1890, over 130,000 electric street lights were in operation in the United States.

Eventually, they popped up all over the world.

The ushering in of electric light created a mass desire as lighting went from gas lanterns to ARC lighting, with

the eventual creation from many inventors the most notable Thomas Edison of the modern day incandescent

light bulb. With the creation of electric power plants and electric generators, the demand for residential,

commercial and industrial lighting was booming. Our unsurpassed devotion to engineering superior light

fixtures emerged during that revolutionary transition from darkness to light.

Leading the way in industrial light manufacturing, Electrolooch manufactured light fixtures for the first Subway

Stations, Train Stations, Military and Government Facilities through-out Eastern Europe. Electrolooch is still in

business over 120 years later and has named its North American Subsidiary “ARCUS” to champion the

accomplishments of the inventor and electrical engineer Pavel Yablochkov.

At ARCUS, innovation and imagination are as highly valued as product reliability and quality. We continue to

Plafond™ series fixtures are a unique group fixtures engineered specifically for its compact size, high lumen output and low wattage. Ideal for modular skid & storage building industry, however any area with requiring 1,500-3,000 lumens.

Extremely low profile and small size and weight. Its uniform crisp white light, specially engineered for lighting in hazardous areas where head room and space are a factor. Applications include tunnels, confined spaces, modular skids, storage units, mechanical rooms and buildings, elevator shasts, and piping and conduit runs and ships and vessels. At 2.5 lbs its the lightest fixture in its class. These luminaires exceed all expectations when it comes to providing a convenient and compact light with-in work areas with-in the Hazardous Lighting Industry. With a range of 8, 15 and 20 watts, and optional voltage input range from 110-277 V AC, 347-480 V AC, 24 V DC, 36 AC and 36 DC. Mounting can be inline on condui t , flat sur face , or swive l un iversa l mount ing . Oppry™ perfectly solves all the problems with-in the hazardous and explosion proof lighting arena. Size, durability, light disbursement, and quality. Unequaled in size to power, the Oppry™ is used on terminals and loading platforms, in wastewater facilities, industrial manufacturing and petro-chemcial refineries, and is perfect for most low bay applications. With a range of 36W, 50W, and 60W and optional voltage input range from 110-277 V AC, 347-480 V AC, 24 V DC, 36 V DC. Mounting can be direct conduit, junction box, or swivel mounting. In the 50 W and 60 W models the body is slightly larger to effectively produce an efficient heat sink ensuring our T5-T6 heat rating. Hazardous Area Fixtures

Oppry™ and Plafond™ Retrofit kits are direct replacements for Crouse-Hinds and Appleton model fixtures utilizing the existing top hat hardware. 2,000-9,000 Lumens.

Oppry™ and Plafond™ Retrofit kits were created for ease installation. Extremely light weight (3lbs Plafond™, 6.5lbs Oppry™) makes changing an existing Crouse-Hinds or Appleton fixture simple. Our kits use one screw and have 3 wires, making upgrading the old MH/HPS lighting to ARCUS fixture with XTE CREE LED’s extremely quick. Utilizing your existing base, our Retrofit installs in minutes. With a power range of 15W, 20W, 36W, 50W 60W, you are covered from 2000-9,000 lumens. Oppry™ and Plafond™ is used for wastewater facility upgrades, petro-chemical manufacturing and refining, industrial manufacturing. Optional voltage input range from 110-277 V AC, 347-480 V AC, 24 V DC, 36 V DC. The 60 W models body is slightly larger to effectively produce an efficient heat sink ensuring our T5heat rating. All Retrofit Kits have an enamel finish designed for harsh and corrosive environments. ProEx™ series luminaires are designed for lighting hazardous areas in spot, flood or high-bay configurations. ProEx™ is extremely efficient. With increased lumen output and lower wattage when compared to competition making ProEx™ the obvious choice for Hazloc lighting. Drivers are fully potted for vibration resistance and a power range of 60W, 80W, 110W and 130W watts. In models with 110 and 130 Watt have a specifically engineered body for more effective heat disbursement extending the life of driver and LED's. Connections in Explosion Proof and Hazardous areas

Arcus Explosion Proof Junction Boxes are intended for making

connections for indoor and outdoor installations in hazardous C1D1

and C1D2 zones according to UL standards. The design of our

junction boxes provides easy access inside for making connections

inside the enclosure. Arcus Junction boxes are available in two

sizes with diameters of 64mm and 110 mm. The number of holes for

attachment of various cable glands vary between 3 or 4, depending

on requirement. Additional plugs are included per project. Each box

is equipped with 4-wire Freestanding terminal or 4-wire terminals

«WAGO» DIN-rail.
