PROFILE F E F E D A L U X O L O M Z A M A N E

Founder of Songo Design Lab, Fefe Daluxolo Mzamane, is a professional architect and urban development enthusiast. Fefe has designed projects that range from modern office buildings, schools, government clinics, factories, warehouses and social institutes to hotels across the Eastern Cape Province and South Africa. He has worked on each project in varying capacities from being the commissioned architect to project management.

Fefe studied at the Nelson Mandela University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) Degree in 2007. He went on to obtain his Master in Architectural Profession (MIArch Prof) in 2011.

A qualified and passionate architect in his own right, Fefe has been actively involved in promoting environmentally friendly designs and has had a successful career lasting over a decade. Prior to founding Songo Design Lab, he worked and honed his architectural design skills in companies in the Eastern Cape and Gauteng.

In starting Songo Design Lab, Fefe had identified a need for black owned companies with requisite skills to fill the gap in an industry that is still slowly undergoing economic transformation.

His mission has been to promote diversity and at the same time create innovative designs that embrace the demands of a more digital future, save energy and preserve the environment. Fefe is an accredited Green Building Consultant.
