Transcript of Arc-en-Ciel: A Sims 3 Rainbowcy, Episode 8
Last chapter of Red generation, I can finally focus on my Orange gen heir! Now there is a lot more to Venus’s travels than I took pictures of, since she spent most of her time in Egypt getting a Level 2 Visa so really that’s all there is to her travels this time. Let’s
see how her Egyptian adventures went shall we?
Venus: So my first mission here is to retrieve some papers?
Egyptian: Yes, you see is important to my job.
Venus: Ah I see, but why can’t you go get it?
Egyptian: Family; I can’t leave them alone.
Venus: I have a family too, I think he’s just lazy. I wish I could have brought Ludo with me…
Venus: We didn’t even get a honeymoon, it was like all weddings so far; move in, engage, marry. No wedding parties, no guests just fast and quick. It didn’t
take long and I wish I could have had an actual wedding.
Venus: Tomb raiding is really just finding a bunch of secrets and unlocking doors. But the treasures, now that’s why I really go. Having my own Private
Museum is something I’ve always dreamed about.
Venus: My sister has already achieved her life long dream of being a Vocal Legend, her final concert was at the Los Suenos Private Club. It was also our last adventure in Starlight Shores. We were getting ready to move again, Pom-Pom
wanted to continue her fame elsewhere.
Venus: Once I got those papers for the guy, I went back to the Adventure Board at Base Camp in hopes of finding something more challenging.
However, I did not anticipate that getting those papers was only the start of a long, chain of events. Or that I would be unwittingly helping a shady
corporation tighten its grip on the unsuspecting people of Egypt…
Venus: I was led to the home of another citizen who turned out to be in charge of the whole Morcucorp syndicate. I had a feeling something wasn’t right, who were really the bad guys here, the one who sent me on this quest; or the person
whose house I am in?
Venus: They turned out to be only a corporation who sought out the ancient and buried history of their country. Three artifacts were scattered throughout
the land buried in vast pyramids all over. I did get a break to do some excavating of my own to find more treasures.
Venus: That first artifact was buried in the Pyramid of the Burning Sands, it was not only sweltering inside that pyramid but the fire pits and traps nearly
got me a few times…
Venus: I remembered why I wanted to do this; I wanted to show my new son everything the world had to offer. I had him not too long after returning from college. Ludo and I were so surprised when we found out, we hadn’t been trying to have children so soon. My son Phobos is an alien like me, he has all my abilities. I can see from the tiny bit of
fuzz on his head that he has his father’s hair colour.
Venus: The second artifact was in the Temple of Water, it was a beautiful pyramid nestled amongst an oasis. But the serene beauty can still hide many
dangers within.
Venus: It was a lot cooler in this temple unfortunately it also came with scalding steam traps which I had managed to avoid, for the most part.
Venus: The third one was deep inside the Pyramid of the Winds; the largest and most dangerous of all the tombs; everything in here tries to kill you and I swear
the design on the floor resembled a skull…
Venus: Let’s not forget that the actual artifact was guarded by a cursed and disgraced priest and his two acolytes, fighting mummies is definitely not
something I recommend for the unprepared or unwise.
Venus: And fighting four of them in two different places surely counts…right? They were all in the same pyramid, only this one was easier than three at once.
Venus: There is hope if you ever decide you’re brave enough to face a mummy. On occasion, you can end up with a terrible curse one which allows you 18 hours to live before
becoming a member of the undead. I wasn’t cursed, thank Zornac; but if you are the Sphinx is said to cure all that ails you, even mummy curses. I had to see it for myself.
Venus: I had more than enough adventure for now and I was glad to be home. It made me miss my mother. Even though I still get the sensation she’s still around…
Clear: Oops, I guess the hot tub can’t handle ectoplasmic ghosts…oh well.
Venus: I was not prepared to lose my father though; it felt like precious time was taken from my little Phobos and his grandfather. He was barely a child
when he lost his grandfather.
Venus: At least he got to see our new home in Dragon Valley. I think he was just happy that his family was still strong. As sad as it was, father’s passing made room for Carrot to
finally carry on the legacy. I know that I am taking up space, and once Phobos is a teenager we will leave and allow him to have the space he needs.
Blair Arcenciel (nee Churchill), co-founder, husband, father, grandfather Lived: 112 Days
Spouse: Clear Arcenciel Children: Pomegranate, Goji, Cherry, Venus
Grandchildren: Peach, Persimmon, Carrot, Phobos, Maxwell (Goji’s son) LTW: Be Swimming In Cash (completed)
Venus: Carrot didn’t waste any time getting started on Yellow generation, in fact I think he’s about to experience the joy of fatherhood right now. But that is a tale for another
time, and I am sure it will be one worth hearing from his perspective.
