e most dicult thing is geing good time management skills down. Having a full time job is such a dierent schedule than college because of the consis-tency. You really need to discipline yourself to go to bed early, because you don’t get the luxury of sleeping in. Also, geing a good feel for the company, what your role is there, and what they expect of you. Finding a mentor really helps!

It was a really long process. I went to the Lear Center several times to get my resume critiqued and to just talk to the advisors. I submied my resume on dierent company websites as well as on MySpartanCareer. I also went to several company information sessions to nd out which company actually interested me.
Networking is key. Don’t ever burn any bridges, because you never know if you will meet them again. You can build networks through things like LinkedIn. Its not just a professional Facebook, it’s a way for you to ask questions and get information about their line of work.
