Campus Research Day is on Tuesday April 14 2015

Over 150 Southern graduate and undergraduate researchers will participate in this one day conference celebrating the research activities happening on the campus of Southern

Adventist University The keynote address will take

place at 830 am in Lynn Wood Hall Chapel and will feature Jack W Plunkett author of the Axiom Business Book Award Winning title The Next Boom Plunkettrsquos address

will explore the role of research in understanding vital trends in business technology consumers and globalization

A full day of break-out sessions will follow the keynote address at which point students will give both oral and poster presentations showcasing their research work this semester

Two convocation credits will be available to Research Day

participants and attendees One credit can be earned by attending the keynote address and another credit can be earned by attending a breakout session during the day

CAMPUS RESEARCH DAY IS APRIL 14 2014

National Poetry Month events library instruction and requesting new items

National Poetry MonthThroughout the month

of April McKee Library will showcase several displays in honor of National Poetry Month

Artists from the Civic Arts League of Chattanooga will showcase a collection of art inspired by poems This exhibit is on display from March 3 through May 19 2015 on the libraryrsquos second floor

Faculty and students are encouraged to stop by one of the libraryrsquos poetry stations to create

their own unique poem using provided poetry words

A selection of poetry works will be available for check out on the main floor of the library throughout the month of April Library Instruction for Summer Courses
