Empty Bowl Recap

The Georgia Club took great pleasure in participating in the 19th annual Empty Bowl Luncheon on March 1 at the beautiful Classic

Center in downtown Athens, Georgia. This charitable fundraiser showcased artistry with creative ceramic bowls created by local artists and athletes of the Georgia football team for a

silent auction. Attendants of the event were given the opportunity to pick a ceramic bowl of their choice for

attending the charitable fundraiser. The event benefited the Food Bank of North East Georgia. Their mission

is to eliminate hunger throughout the community in providing food

for children, seniors, and the working poor.

It was an honor for The Georgia Club to participated alongside

12 local restaurants. The Georgia Club Chef Ray Whitlock prepared an elegant Roasted Mushroom Bisque for the event. The Georgia Club was

honored to participate in this charitable fundraiser and looks forward to Empty Bowl 2018.
