Butterfly Project

1. Today we will explore the children of Terezinstadt Ghetto in Terezin, Czechoslovokia. You will create a butterfly to represent the young author of the poem you choose. You will write the poem, title and author on the butterfly. We will hang them in the room. We will reveal the fate of your young author and either cut them down or allow them to remain to remind us of the loss of life during this time.

✤ S.1; DOK: 2-3; Learning Target: I can interpret the Holocaust through poetry written by children in the camps.
