Calculus is a branch of mathematics focused on
limits, functions, derivatives, integrals, and infinite
series. This subject constitutes a major part of
modern mathematics education.

0011 0010 1010 1101 0001 0100 1011Differential calculus is the study of the definitions,
properties, and applications of the derivative of a
function. The process of finding the derivative is
called differentiation.

The slope is (in the simplest of terms) the measurement of a
line, and is defined as the ratio of the "rise" divided by the
"run" between two points on a line.

First derivative
If the function is y= f(x) then the first derivative of this
function will be –
Second derivative
Second derivative is the derivative of the first derivative.

Integral calculus is the study of the definitions, properties, and
applications of two related concepts, the indefinite integral
and the definite integral. The process of finding the value
of an integral is called integration.

The indefinite integral is the anti-derivative of the inverse operation to
the derivative.
The definite integral
The definite integral inputs a function and outputs a number, which gives
the area between the graph of the input and the x-axis.

0011 0010 1010 1101 0001 0100 1011It is often useful to express the rate of change of a
quantity as a percent.
Examples include the rate of population growth, the
rate of increase of the value of an investment, and
the rate of inflation, the value of stock.

In calculus for identifying minimum & maximum values we
first identify first derivative. Setting it zero we get the
quantity. Putting the value of quantity in the second
derivative if it becomes less than zero ,it is maximum but
when it becomes more than zero, it is minimum.
