SUBJECT Funded Delegate and First-Time Attendee Notification for

2018 NCEES Annual Meeting

The 2018 NCEES annual meeting will be held August 15-18 in Scottsdale Arizona at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Registration is scheduled to open in early May

In accordance with NCEES policy the Council will fund the meeting registration travel and lodging expenses of three delegates from each member board to attend the annual meeting Each funded delegate will also receive a $250 check for incidental expenses To receive this funding delegates will be required to attend the business sessions on Thursday August 16 and Friday August 17

NCEES will also pay the meeting registration travel and lodging expenses of all members and member board administrators who have never attended an NCEES annual meeting and were appointed to or hired by their boards since August 15 2016 (24 months before the 2018 NCEES annual meeting) To receive this funding a first-time attendee must attend the First-Time Attendee Luncheon at 1145 am on Wednesday August 15 and the business sessions on Thursday August 16 and Friday August 17 Funded first-time attendees will also receive a $250 check for incidental expenses

Please notify NCEES of your boards funded attendees by completing and returning the attached forms by Friday May 25 Provide contact information for the funded delegates rather than the board office NCEES will email each delegate an invitation package with meeting information and instructions for making necessary travel arrangements NCEES will make the hotel reservations for all funded delegates based on information provided during registration

If your board wants to authorize an associate member to be its sole voting delegate please provide a letter from your chair printed on board letterhead designating this individual as the voting delegate

SUBJECT Funded Delegate and First-Time Attendee Notification for

2018 NCEES Annual Meeting

The 2018 NCEES annual meeting will be held August 15-18 in Scottsdale Arizona at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Registration is scheduled to open in early May

In accordance with NCEES policy the Council will fund the meeting registration travel and lodging expenses of three delegates from each member board to attend the annual meeting Each funded delegate will also receive a $250 check for incidental expenses To receive this funding delegates will be required to attend the business sessions on Thursday August 16 and Friday August 17

NCEES will also pay the meeting registration travel and lodging expenses of all members and member board administrators who have never attended an NCEES annual meeting and were appointed to or hired by their boards since August 15 2016 (24 months before the 2018 NCEES annual meeting) To receive this funding a first-time attendee must attend the First-Time Attendee Luncheon at 1145 am on Wednesday August 15 and the business sessions on Thursday August 16 and Friday August 17 Funded first-time attendees will also receive a $250 check for incidental expenses

Please notify NCEES of your boards funded attendees by completing and returning the attached forms by Friday May 25 Provide contact information for the funded delegates rather than the board office NCEES will email each delegate an invitation package with meeting information and instructions for making necessary travel arrangements NCEES will make the hotel reservations for all funded delegates based on information provided during registration

If your board wants to authorize an associate member to be its sole voting delegate please provide a letter from your chair printed on board letterhead designating this individual as the voting delegate
