Malaysian Culture

Malaysia is a beautiful country with many

cultures and traditions. Malaysia has three

main races which are the Malays, Chinese

and Indians. Each of the culture has their

traditional festivals, foods and costumes.

Malays celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri.Malay men wear Baju Melayu and sampin

a short sarong wrapped around the hips.

Malay girls wear Baju Kurung. Malay people

usually eat nasi lemak, rendang and

ketupat, satay and lemang.

Chinese celebrate Chinese New Year in

the of the new lunar month. Chinese girls

wear a Cheongsam or a long dress. Chinese

men wear "Samfu." Chinese people usually

eat non-spicy food like pau and soup.

Indians love to eat spicy food like tosai,

vadai, roti canai and curries. A Indian

woman wear a "Saree". A Indian man wear

"dhoti" and "kurta". Indians celebrate

Thaipusam and Deepavali.

Malaysia is a multi-cultural country.
