Laparoscopic method

Laparoscopic appendectomy involves making three smallincisions in the abdomen, through which particularinstruments are inserted. A gas is gently pumped into theabdominal cavity to separate the abdominal wall from theorgans. This makes it easier to examine the appendix andinternal organs.
