This conference is to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Apollo Oncology Services in India. Apollo had pioneered the introduction of CyberKnife, Novalis TX and true beam to India. The year ahead will witness Apollo established contemporary brilliant Proton Beam Therapy, the first of its kind in India.

It is my pleasure and privilege to invite you as an active participant to a first of its kind International Cancer Conclave, the ‘APOLLO CANCER CONCLAVE 2014’ to be held on 7, 8, and 9th February 2014 at Chennai, India.

Across the world, cancer has grown to significant proportions and cancer management has changed tremendously. The purpose of the conference is to create a shared appreciation among the medical community and broader public on the criticality of addressing cancer management with great urgency; deliberate, exchange the significant advances that have been made in cancer management and outline the impending changes that we should continue to expect in this area. We believe that the conference will be of immense relevance to the medical fraternity to stay at the leading edge of knowledge in this area.

The focus of this conclave is on integration of cutting edge science with emerging advances in technology such as Proton Beam Therapy, Robotic surgery and novel therapies. The conference would be multidisciplinary covering the advances in the fields of Surgical, Medical, Radiation Oncology, Hematology and Robotics.

To foster a rich exchange, we are planning to have over two hundred eminent pioneers, researchers, medical practitioners from India and abroad as our faculty. We plan to add innovative formats to deliberate on these topics ranging from panel discussions to interactive sessions and debates where in we see your valuable participation.

I am privileged to invite you to the ‘APOLLO CANCER CONCLAVE 2014’, a first-of-its-kind international forum organized with a goal of making every type of Cancer curable and in doing so, strengthen the battle against a tough adversary.

The APOLLO CANCER CONCLAVE 2014 has been scheduled from 7-9 February 2014 at Chennai, India and I do hope that you will make a note of these dates in your calendar.

A new horizon for cancer care demands a concerted effort from every stakeholder, the strong support of legislation, the commitment of the entire medical fraternity in encouraging early detection and above all a promise from every adult to embrace a healthier lifestyle as almost as much as 43% of all cancer can be prevented by just being conscious, and living a life of moderation.
