Bernie has been in the ICT industry for over 30 years. He is currently based in Singapore where he is the Data Center CTO at Cisco Systems Asia Pacific. Bernie is using his twenty years of Cisco technology experience to advise Enterprise and Public Sector organizations on building sustainable Data Center infrastructure and network architectures for hosting and delivering cloud services. Bernie’s extensive background in network design coupled with his indepth knowledge of network security and network application services, enable him to provide Cisco customers with a wide breadth of options when designing cloud architectures to

As Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Bret Hartman is responsible for defining the corporate security technology strategy for Cisco, as implemented by the Security Business Group.

Mr. Hartman has over thirty years of experience building information security solutions for major enterprises. His expertise includes cloud, virtualization, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services security, policy development and management, and security modeling and analysis. Mr. Hartman has spoken at dozens of security and privacy industry events and is a recognized authority on distributed systems security.

Prior to Cisco, Mr. Hartman was Chief Technology Officer of RSA and an EMC Fellow, where he defined the security technology strategy for EMC. This strategy drove the acquisition of RSA Security and the creation of the Security Division of EMC, now generating over $1B of annual revenue.

Mr. Hartman’s previous roles include Director of Technical Services for SOA Appliances at IBM Corporation; Vice President of Technology Solutions at DataPower Technology Inc. (acquired by IBM); and Chief Technology Officer at Quadrasis Security (Hitachi Computer Products). Mr. Hartman began his distinguished career as a U.S. Air Force officer assigned to the U.S. National Security Agency.

At the U.S. National Security Agency Mr. Hartman helped to create the “DoD Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria” (Orange Book). Bret has also co-authored security industry specifications, security technology books, and a patent for enterprise application security integration.

Clarence Barboza is Director, Cisco Channel Partner Organization for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. Dov Yoran has a career-long focus in information security. He is the Sr. Director of Strategy and Business Development for the Security Business Group. He came to Cisco as part of the ThreatGRID acquisition in June of 2014. Dov was co-founder and CEO of ThreatGRID, the first unified malware analysis and threat intelligence solution that helps organizations defend against advanced cyber attacks. Prior to that, he was a co-founder and partner at MetroSITE Group, an advisory services firm to both emerging security companies and large enterprises. Previously, he held several leadership roles at Solutionary (now NTT), Symantec, Riptech (acquired by Symantec) and Accenture.

As the Vice President of Advanced Threat Solution (ATS) sales, Kathy is reponsible to lead a global organization focused on selling new and advanced threat security solutions such as Advanced Malware Protection, Cloud Delivered, Web, and Email Security solutions to customers worldwide. The ATS team is chartered to profitably grow sales of the ATS portfolio, while concurrently building and executing next generation sales models for Cisco security and our partners. In her role, Kathy works with senior executives across our customers, partners and within Cisco to deliver security solutions that solve our customers most complex security challenges.

Additionally, Kathy has global responsibility to lead the cross-functional team developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for Cisco’s security acquisitions including Sourcefire, Open DNS, Lancope and Threat Grid into Cisco’s sales and partner organization. She is responsible to deliver sales results and other key metrics as part of Cisco’s acquisition CFO commit process.

Previous to this, Kathy was Executive Director for Cisco’s Consumer, Products and Services (CPS) Business Transformation vertical practice in the Americas geography. In this role, she led the strategy, go-to-market and the cross functional team responsible for delivering business value to Cisco’s CPS customers. Kathy and and her team were focused on helping clients meet their strategic business imperatives through Cisco vertical architectures and solutions.

Mun Hossain is Director of Product Management for Cloud and Content Security at the Security Business Group at Cisco. Mun joined Cisco in 2000. During his tenure with the Security team, Mun has led several key product lines including Firewall, IPS, VPN, Email/Web Security, Data Center/SP security and DDoS. Most recently Mun led a team to embed security into Cisco’s SDN framework, deliver

Olaf Krohmann is Director Cisco Security Solutions, APJC. His organization supports customers with Security Solutions to protect their critical assets and to cope with modern Cyber Security Threats. He is also driving new innovations for managing Cyber Security Threats effectively. Prior to this role, Krohmann was responsible for the Borderless Services Group in APJC. With his team he was helping large Enterprise and SP Customers in APJC with consulting, assessment and deployment services for Cisco’ core networking services.

Prior to his current role he was driving Cisco’s technology vision and strategy with the Cisco Briefing Centers and Proof of Concept Labs in APAC. Krohmann has innovated the Briefing, Demo and Proof of Concept Program in APAC significantly and introduce new customer-focused services to the program. In just 18 months 5 New Briefing Centers in APAC have been built to create a new kind of world-class customer experience and presents Cisco products and services to highly qualified prospects and visitors.

Prior to this Krohmann was Systems Engineers Director in North Asia for 2 years and in the same role in Germany for 4 years. He was instrumental in transforming Cisco’s business practices for the System Engineering community in EMEA and APAC.

Olaf Krohmann joined Cisco in 1999, and previously worked with o.tel.o. Communications, Nokia Cable and has been a Teaching Assistant at University of Magdeburg.

Pankaj joined F5 Networks in January 2015, and is responsible for directing the development and evolution of the channel and strategic alliance partner landscape.

Prior to F5, Pankaj spent 5+ years at Cisco in the APJC Partner Organization in partner management, strategy & planning as well as practice development roles. Prior to Cisco, Pankaj spent 8 years at NetApp in a variety of APJC and US roles, including service channel development, managed service delivery, field marketing and alliances and data center partner ecosystem development. He was fortunate to have been in Silicon Valley during the dot-com boom where he

worked at Corio, a cloud startup. He also worked in alliance roles at Oracle, as a management consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton in New York, and as a systems software developer at Tandem Computers in California.

Pankaj has a B.Tech. in Computer Science from IIT Delhi, an M.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and an MBA from The Wharton School. Paul Pang is the Chief Security Strategist, APAC and Japan of Splunk with more than 20 years expertise in IT security and networking technology.

Paul has extensive experiences on Big Data and SIEM technology and has led more than 20 SOC (Security Operation Center) and MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) customer projects in Asia, ranging from Nationwide CERT, Honeynet, and even using Big Data as security research project. Prior to Splunk, Paul was the Director of Sales Engineering of Arcsight Asia Pacific and Japan.

As the company official spokesperson and security specialists, Paul demonstrate though leadership and communicate that to the wider community though public

speaking engagements, the creation of white papers and other materials and through individual and group customer meetings in Asia Pacific. Paul has been the speaker in different APAC security conference for many years.

Rajeev Khanolkar co-founded SecurView in 2007. SecurView provides white label Cybersecurity solutions in the area of Mobility, Cloud/Datacenter, Content Security, and Malware protection. The solutions are delivered as advisory, integration, and managed services. SecurView has received strategic investment from Cisco in 2007.

As the CEO, Rajeev has formed several strategic partnerships that, in turn, has contributed to the development of new products and solutions for SecurView. He has been instrumental in building and maintaining a strong partnership with Cisco, which enables SecurView to reach a global customer base. Under Rajeev’s leadership, SecurView has become a leading cyber security solutions company.

Rajeev is a serial entrepreneur. He co-founded NetCom Systems in 1995 with his business partner Niten Ved. The company was very successful in delivering enterprise management solutions to Fortune 2000 companies. In 1999,

NetCom Systems spun off netForensics, a pioneer company in SIEM (Security Information and Event Management). netForensics also pioneered a concept of SOC.

As the CEO of netForensics from 1999 to 2005, Rajeev helped shape netForensics into a global leader in Internet security information and event management. Under his leadership, the company won many technology and business leadership awards. Specifically, netForensics was listed as the fastest growing technology company in New Jersey by Deloitte in 2004 and as one of the top 10 fastest growing companies in 2005.

Ross Fowler leads Cisco’s Enterprise Segment and Digital Transformation initiatives across the Asia Pacific and Japan region, as customers seek to capture the opportunities that arise from the digital transformation of their countries, cities and businesses.

Ross’ areas of responsibility include Enterprise & Public Sector Vertical Practices, Digital Transformation Solutions, Large and Transformational Accounts, Large and Complex Deals and IoT Acceleration.

Ross has more than 40 years of technical, business and sales leadership experience in the ICT industry. He has held several key leadership roles over his 12 years in Cisco, most recently as Cisco’s Executive Sponsor for its Lend Lease relationship and the leader of Cisco’s Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater

China Enterprise Segment. Prior to those roles, Ross was the worldwide sales leader for Cisco’s Enterprise Networking and Security business - based in San Jose California, Cisco’s European Service Provider segment leader – based in London, and Cisco’s Australia and New Zealand leader – based in Sydney.

In his role, Mr. Harrell leads the product development strategy and business development for Cisco’s Security offers. Stephen Dane is Managing Director of Cisco’s Global Security Sales Organization (GSSO) for Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China. He is responsible for the growth and profitability of Cisco’s security business in the region, driving Cisco as the No. 1 security partner and advisor to customers and partners.

With more than two decades of expertise in the IT and Telecom industry, Stephen is well-known and experienced in developing security businesses, and in positioning security as integral to the business strategy of all organisations. Stephen has been with Cisco for six years, and was previously the EMEA Vice President for cloud-based web security company ScanSafe, which was acquired by Cisco in December 2009. He was responsible for integrating the

ScanSafe business into Cisco, and has since also led the UK Network and Content Security team.

Prior to joining Cisco, Stephen held various positions with BT in the UK and across Asia Pacific, managing teams focusing on the Financial Services industry and the Energy sector. He has also worked for cloud and mobile software start-up companies such as MessageLabs and iPass, where he developed strategic alliances and built business in emerging markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
