About the American

Pathology Foundation

The American Pathology Foundation is a non-profit educational associ-

ation dedicated to providing quality pathology management programs.

Each program topic is carefully selected and developed to meet patholo-

gists’ and practice managers’most current needs and provide “take-home,

how-to” information for implementation in their practices.

Founded in 1959, the American Pathology Foundation promotes the

private practice of pathology. Our objectives are:

• To promote the practice of pathology, in all its branches, through

scientific, cultural, educational, and charitable means.

• To cooperate with other professional organizations, especially societies

of pathologists, in the development of the art and science of medicine

in general, and pathology in particular.

• To provide a medium for exchange of information leading to provi-

sion of better anatomic and clinical pathology services for the public.

• To enhance the ability of the pathologist or practice admin-

istrator to manager his/her practice, time and resources.

continuing
