Every year, Mulberry invites these honored guests into our building to have breakfast and enjoy an assembly performed by our students as a small way of saying “Thank You” for all they have done. The assembly includes musical performances, the reading of essays about Veteran’s Day and a short video of what freedom means to the students and staff at Mulberry. All of our Mulberry family is invited to join us at the assembly to honor these guests. If you would like to attend, it will begin at 9:30 a.m. on November 11 th . We hope to see you there! Everyone have a wonderful weekend! Congratulations to the October Students- of-the-Month who joined Mr. Zawodny for a Burger King lunch on Wednesday! This is a select group of students honored each month for their positive effort toward academics. The students were: Joel Abner, Dominic Bailey, Jaquey Bean, Prateek Bhandari, Kaleb Boaz, Kaelin Clawson, Mikenzie Collins, Bella Dahlheimer, Joshua Davis, Peyton Hensley, Logan Hopper, Adam Hyott, Addy Land, Kimberly Lighthall, Tyler McDulin, Jenna Paxton, Alex Pritchard, Trey Riek, Jana Rummel, Peyton Sehlhorst, Elise Sheldon, Leiland Violet, Autumn Wedding, and Lilly Wood. Mulberry Art students have

been busy!

Box Tops ~ Way to go, MULBERRY!!! We had a great number of Box Tops turned in for a fall drive: 13,309

box-tops and 2994 bonus points for a grand total of 16,303, which = $1,630.30!!!

BIG KUDOS to all the individuals who helped in this effort. It was so great to see box-tops bundled and

sorted in groups of 50 already. It made the job so much easier. Thanks to Lauren and Josie, again, for

everything. AND THE WINNER IS....Mrs. Crawford’s class with 1,393 total Box top points!! Congratulations!

Your class will get a free movie afternoon! Start saving now for the Spring Drive!

Volunteer Opportunities ~ Calling all volunteers….we are in need of volunteers for several events

throughout the year. We have evening events, Saturday events, and events during the day. Our next event

is Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 6th. If you are able to help out or have any questions about the event,

please contact Carla Rawlins at [email protected].

Market Day ~ The Market Day Cookie Dough sale kicked off this past Monday. Our goal is to sell 500 boxes

of cookie dough to help the school pay for a new Chrome Book Technology Cart. Please help the

students sell as much cookie dough as possible! Orders should be turned in to the school with the check or

money by Friday November 14th. The cookie dough pickup will be on Saturday December 13th in the school’s

auditeria from 9:30-10:30. Please contact Lydia Stevens with any questions about ordering (332-8935).

Additional order forms are available in the school office. Prizes will be distributed at the time of

pickup. Thank you!

PTO Meeting ~ We invite you to join us on Monday, November 10th at 7:00 p.m. for the next meeting. We

meet in the school library. Come out and get involved. Childcare is provided.
