Antigua Guatemala is a city in the central highlands of Guatemala. Is famous for its well-preserved Spanish Baroque influenced architecture as well as a number of spectacular ruins of colonial churches. It has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Antigua is cold after sunset, especially between September and March,

Antigua residents are known by the nickname panza verde (green belly), as they are said to eat lots of avocados, which grow abundantly.

One touristic place is Soleil Antigua. This hotel is very famous.

In Antigua they have many processions in the Easter week. All the tourists like to go to see this.
