TIME OF APPLICATION: Soil treatment shall start when the foundation trenches and pits are ready

to receive mass concrete in foundations. Lying of mass concrete shall start

when the chemical emulsion has been absorbed by the soil and the surface

is quite dry. Treatment shall not be carried out when it is raining or soil is

wet with rain or sub-soil water. The foregoing earth surface within the

plinth before laying the sub-grade for the floor.

Types of Termite Control Procedure:

Anti Termite Treatment – Method Statement:

Anti termite treatment is carried out in four stages described below.

FIRST PHASE:

This treatment is applied on the set, compacted hardcore, i.e on the

underside of the floor slab with concentration of spray on both

sides/edges of the ground beams. This constitutes the first stage of the

treatment.

SECOND PHASE:

1. The treatment is applied on the prepared, compacted hardcore, i.e.

on the underside of the floor slab with concentration of spray on both

sides/ edges of the ground beams. This constitutes the first stage of the

treatment.

2. During the second stage, anti- termite solution is applied on the

prepared hardcore at the apron area, porch, patio, lanai and other

covered areas.

THIRD PHASE:

1. Anti treatment is applied on the foundation and ground beams with

concentration on both sides/edges of the ground beams.

2. Anti termite treatment is applied on the prepared, compacted

hardcore

3. Anti termite treatment is carried out on the prepared hardcore at the

apron area.

FOURTH PHASE (FINAL):

1. When piling is completed, we carry out the anti termite treatment into

the soil at the foundations.

2. After the pile caps are erected, the anti termite treatment is carried

out at the ground beams.

3. The anti termite treatment is applied on the prepared compacted

hardcore floor slab.

4. Anti termite treatment is carried out on the prepared hardcore at the

apron area.
