    PAT BRUCE OUTREACH ADOPT-A-FAMILY

The Pat Bruce Christmas Adopt a Family Program is being handled dif-

ferently this year for the mothers and their families who have completed

our educational program. This is the 17th and last year for our Christ-

mas gift, food and clothing project. We will be shopping along with the

mothers for these items and will have a final mini-celebration and recog-

nition of the end of the Pat Bruce Outreach Mission Program. Please

send your donation which is tax deductible to 110 Greenfield Way,

Madison, MS 39110 or for more information call 601-573-2183.

We will be taking on team members for as long as we have this ministry, so please consider serving and personally

invite someone you know from other churches or from our community who would be well-suited for this recovery

    ministry.

For our next meeting on Thursday, November 29, we will visit the Celebrate Recovery program at Christ United

Methodist Church (6000 Old Canton Road, Jackson, MS 39211). A van will leave from our church at 5:00 p.m. for

this meeting, or you can meet us at Christ UMC whenever you can. The entrance for their program is on the south

    side of their campus.

Madison UMC delivered 1,912 cans of corn to MadCAAP to be included in Thanksgiving boxes to over 700 fami-lies and elderly who live in poverty in Madison County.

Remember that the need will continue after Thanksgiving. Just imagine what could happen if every attendee on each

Sunday would bring 1 can to donate. Those who have little or nothing to eat would have food on their tables!

The push to gather food will continue, as we work with Christ to end hunger in Madison County…one can at a time.

    Thank You!
