Your Generosity Generates Letter…..… ………Lots of Letters!!! Thank You!!

Thank you so much for the Scholarship! I’m very thankful for this scholarship because it has given me more opportunities and hope to go to college to become a nurse. It was my pleasure to be one of the recipients of the Wheaton High Schools Alumni Club Scholarships. Thank you Again! Mufida

Thank you so much for your generous award of $1,000.00 towards my college fund. My name is Ellena and I am tremendously grateful to receive this award. This will allow me to be able to purchase my first personal laptop for college. I am incredibly blessed, along with my family to receive this award. Thank you so much. Ellena

I greatly appreciate the scholarship I received from the Association. I feel honored that my essay was selected. I am thankful to have received this scholarship because it will help toward my freshman year at the University of Kentucky. I am proud t be a Wheaton North Alumni! Thank you again for your generosity. Sincerely, Kallen O’Shea

As a recipient of the Wheaton High Schools Alumni Club Scholarship I would like to express my sincere appreciation for your support. I am writing to thank you for your extremely generous, financial support towards my higher education. I will be attending the University of Texas at Austin this fall and I will be studying biology. I plan to go into physical therapy. On campus, I will continue to volunteer my time towards various causes, as well as work part time to support my education. Upon graduation, I hope to attend physical therapy school and practice full time. By awarding me this scholarship, I will be able to prioritize my education and put my energy and time into doing well in classes. Your generous donation has allowed me to make my goals and aspirations into a reality. I hope to someday give back by helping other students achieve their educational goals. Sincerely, Megan Mills

Thank you for choosing me as one of the recipients of your scholarships. I am extremely excited to continue my education at Hope College. Your scholarship means so much to me and I am tremendously grateful. Than you Wheaton High Schools Alumni Club! With Appreciation, Isabel Santos

Thank you so much for providing me with this scholarship for college in the fall for Bradley University. I will be studying Early Childhood with ESL Endorsement and hopefully adding on Elementary as a minor or double major when school starts. I can not wait for college to start and my journey to begin 3 hours away from home in Peoria, Illinois. The Alumni Club has helped me get even closer to my dream of becoming a teacher and changing the lives of children. Thank you again for helping me get this far and helping with my tuition to a great school that will help me succeed with my career that I have chosen. Sincerely, Ashley Pyle

A Word From The President

Hello and welcome to the Wheaton High Schools Alumni Club 65th Annual Dinner. We are a dedicated group of volunteers working together to raise funds annually for graduating senior student scholarships while having fun along the way!

Our mission is to: • Maintain a contact list of alumni classmates. • Support the high schools and, through alumni classmate generosity, provide scholarships to talented

and deserving graduates. • Coordinate “all-class” reunion events including the annual dinner banquet and the new, informal

Spring Reunion. • Manage Hall of Fame and Honorary Hall of Fame nominations and voting. Also archiving those

individuals on plaques located at the School District 200 Administration Building (SSC).

The Alumni Club is about the past, present and the future. Thank you for your support.

Patty Patty Duhig Carney, President, WCHS ‘76
