FROM THE PRESIDENT’S DESK

Respected Sir/Madam,

There is a significant percentage of tribal population living in

the taluk along with other castes and communities who also comprise of a

sizeable number. sarvoday school has been established for the benefit of

the tribal population as well as for the poorest of poor and underprivileged

sections of the society. Most percentage of the students studying in the

school are first generation learners who come from low income category

of the society. When there is constant struggle to make ends meet and

enormous struggle for sustaining life education and the value of education

loses sheen and takes a back seat.

Because of this poor economical status of the population their

children had been losing out opportunities to get educated. Emphasizing

the need and value of education sarvoday school was established and

since then has been rendering yeoman service to the economically poor

students since the last 1 and ½ decades. the school is situated at

navavas village which is geographically in the centre point of villages

concerning the danta taluk.

There is Lack of good Transportation facilities with less number of

buses operating in the taluka. To address this issue the school

management is planning to have it’s own transport system wherein the

students can be picked up and also dropped back safely from their

respective villages. The availability of transport system ensures there is

Page 44: ANJUMAN WELFARE TRUST NAVAVAS ANNUAL REPORT

ANJUMAN WELFARE TRUST NAVAVAS ANNUAL REPORT 44

good percentage of attendance in the school and also the Safety and

security of the students travelling from their villages is also ensured.

The School also requires good Infrastructure facilities in the

form of a Good Building where the students can derive knowledge and

information without much hassles and also remain safe and healthy

during unfriendly weather conditions like the Harsh Summer and soaring

temperatures, during rainy season and also during chilly winter seasons

when the temperature drops drastically resulting in cold weather

conditions. For students who cannot travel to and from their

respective villages and also for the economically very poorest of poor

students who Lack even the basic amenities of life Hostel facilities can

indeed be of great utility as these category of students can be

provided with all the basic amenities of life and we can ensure that they

derive quality education without any insecurities and worries.

The Adolescent age means there should be enough time and

space for the Physical activities of the students which will improve their

Physical strength and stamina and makes them fit. The School for its

efficient functioning requires an independent Bus transport facility, an all

weather resistant Building, an Hostel and Playground facilities for the

children.

Presently the School has been functioning in a rented

building. We require 21 Class Rooms to conduct classes for LKG, HKG,

and from 1st standard To 10th standard. One Staff room, Principal Cum

Office administration Room, Library, Laboratory and Prayer Room. We

have rented two different houses and have been organizing all routine

activities of our educational institution from these two houses.

Since these houses are small houses, students are not able

to concentrate on their studies due to lack of enough space. Also Due to

Lack of many necessary and important facilities it has indeed been a huge

challenge to run the school.

Page 45: ANJUMAN WELFARE TRUST NAVAVAS ANNUAL REPORT

ANJUMAN WELFARE TRUST NAVAVAS ANNUAL REPORT 45

We Urge/appeal/ request financial support in the form of

Donations / Funds from Individuals/ Corporate Houses/ Public and

Private sector companies / Donors / Donor agencies to Support us and

enable us to run the school effectively. Funding and financial contributions

will be able to make available all the facilities at school and also run it

effectively.

Sponsors and contributions are welcome for creating good

study facilities for single room, for establishing a sophisticated computer

laboratory, Purchasing of Buses, All Purpose Hall Facility, Cement Bags,

Steel (Iron), Electric Fitting Items, Painting, Benches And Furniture and

Infrastructure required for running a student’s hostel.
