Here’s a guide to set-up your Android mobile internet connection. Just follow these easy steps. You may need your handset user manual. If you don’t have a copy, you can find it online. Search manufacturer’s name, model of your handset & user manual (e.g. HTC Wilfire user manual).
As there are a few different versions of Android in the market, we have come up with the basic steps required to get you up and running with the internet. You may notice your mobile’s screen will not match the screen shots we have in this guide, but this guide will still assist you with the steps and information you require.
Some key termsWhat do we mean by ‘tap’ and ‘push’? ‘tap’ means using your touch screen. ‘push’ means pushing the hard buttons on your phone.
What is apN? apN stands for Access Point Name. Setting up the APN on your handset will let you access the internet using your mobile phone.
Let’s get the internet set-up on your mobile!
1. Tap settiNgs 2. Tap Wireless and NetWork
3. Tap Mobile NetWorks
4. If your phone uses the Mobile NetWork feature, tick it.
If not, go to step 5

5. If your phone uses the use packet data option, tick it.
If not, go to step 6
6. Tap access poiNt NaMes
7. Push the MeNu buttoN (it will look different on every model – check your manual)
8. Tap NeW apN You will see your previous provider’s settings at this step. Once you complete the steps you will see amaysim settings
9. Tap NaMe, then key in amaysim internet and tap ok
10. Tap apN, then key in yesinternet and tap ok

11. Tap Mcc, then key in 505 and tap ok
12. Tap MNc, then key in 02 and tap ok
13. Tap autheNticatioN type, then tap pap
14. Tap apN type, then tap iNterNet (if your handset lets you key in this section, key in default)
15. Push the MeNu buttoN, then tap save and make sure the amaysim iNterNet buttoN is green

16. Make sure the 3g syMbol is showing on your handset
