The font style of the name of the artist and album name is the same font and size. The font style is quite traditional gothic which reflects the side of the album its on referring to the face of the artist being half human , half artistic robot – ‘ BI – ON – IC’ ; this looks almost like a science equation which reflects the genre of the

The image is very conventional a CD cover , the star is very airbrushed and inspirational to the audience it is aiming for. This image is also very different to any other and has a non symmetrical face which relates and contributes to the theme of the music and the album name “ BI-ON-IC’.

SIMILAR TO MY OWN IDEAS-

Once researching the conventions of the cd cover I decided on having a cd cover similar to those above. I preferred this because its quite simple , the star are in action instead of just a head shot and its not too busy and just has the name of the album and artist written simply on the cd front cover.

This isn't the usual product for advertising a new album because it doesn't have the stars on the front , this is what I like about this poster as its very different to the others and shows the band is a very unique taste from just looking at the poster. ‘ THE KILLERS’ is the font used on every one of their products creating brand identity.

This poster has all the main points of the conventions of a poster , the album name , bands name , featuring singles , date of release and an added extra on this poster is a website in which you would probably be able to buy the album being advertised.
