Happy August, Members!!!

I will take responsibility for the newsletter being late this month.

We have had a great past several weeks with

a successful Spooner Softball Tournament, Ride-Around-the-Lake, and Chicken Fry. There is such a long list of people deserving recognition but I feel compelled to name a few: Mark Houston for overseeing the Spooner tournament, John Finnell for spending endless hours coordinating the clean-up of the club ground, Joe Teer Jr. for his oversight and coordination of the Chicken Fry along with his sidekicks Tim Strutz and SJ Martin. Jeff Ross has also helped to keep an eye on the expenses and money collection. The softball team played a big role in preparing the grounds for each event.

President’s Letter

As far as the building goes, we are pending a site plan before work on the building can resume.

This is been a great summer so far and there is still plenty left. Keep your eye out for the next Queen of Hearts drawing this month.
