Hello everyone! President Esther is cruising her way around Japan with h e r h u s b a n d G e o r g e a n d granddaughter Cody.

From the looks of Facebook, they are having a fabulous time!

I’ve taken some liberty and assumed what President Esther might like to tell us this week.

There was no meeting on Monday night as we joined the Rotary Club of Boulder on Tuesday 1 July for their meeting. Boulder Club are hosted the Texan Exchange students for a few days. The girls (below) gave a short but interesting talk about themselves

and Austin, Texas. They were very tired as they’d had a flight delay and got to us later than expected. Thanks to those members who went along to the joint meeting.

This weekend 5 & 6 July is KidsFest. At this stage we have Cherie, Georgia and Gloria (when she can) going along to help out. If you are volunteering, you need to report to Natasha at the event to check in and get assigned a location. The event starts at 9am and goes through until 5pm.

On 7 July our Guest Speaker will be Graham Thompson who will be bringing us up to date on planning for Diggers and Dealers 2015. A great event that sees over a 1000 movers and shakers in the mining industry

converge on our City.

On July 14 our Guest Speaker will be John Bowler who will tell us about life after politics.

Changeover is coming up and will take place on Friday 25 July with a Christmas in July theme. Your invitation will have been emailed to you. Please advise by the RSVP date or you won't be included in the numbers for the night.

Ross is away until 4 August and Gavin will be doing attendance, Please contact Gavin with your apologies or if you are bringing a guest.
