Our geographically distributed service centers provide value to our customers by offering a multitude of services while also operating as waste collection points. SERVICES

ENVIRONMENTAL LAB Heritage Laboratories provides an array of environmental analytical services to ensure maintained compliance of a regulated industry or project. Services available include, groundwater, surface water and leachate testing, hazardous waste / RCRA and RISC testing, TSCA testing – PCB, water quality / CWA testing, as well as sampling and sample pickup. Heritage has provided support for some of the largest remediation projects in the country and understands that time in the field or at the job site is money. When results are needed fast, Heritage can deliver on-time.

HERITAGE INTERACTIVE / BY-PRODUCT MANAGEMENTHeritage Interactive Services, LLC helps clients decrease landfill use, increase ef ficiency and manage costs by handling the disposal of all by-products (any materials generated as part of the industrial or operational process that are not utilized in the end product and which cannot be sold and used for its originally intended purpose) generated at customers’ North American facili ties.

HIS works with our customers to determine the services and quantity needed, select qualified/cost effective service providers and provide management/oversight of service performance.

CHEMICAL TREATMENT / LANDFILL / FUELSServices offered include: treatment of inorganic heavy metal contaminated aqueous wastewaters such as acids, caustics, and cyanides. Stabilization of heavy metals in soils, filtercakes, sludges, and dusts from air pollution control equipment. Encapsulation of heavy metal contaminated debris, reclamation of mercury, and recycling organics for fuels blending. We accept drums, bulk, and rail cars. Subtitle C Landfill accepts LDR compliant wastes from Heritage Treatment Facilities and generators.

INCINERATION SERVICESEast Liverpool, Ohio-based Heritage-WTI, Inc. provides incineration services for hazardous and non-hazardous wastes generated by private industries and public organizations. The facility’s environmental professionals accept, store and treat up to 60,000 tons of bulk liquids, bulk solids, containers and lab packs each year. Heritage-WTI’s array of environmental services includes: universal wastes, DEA-controlled substances, mixed infectious-hazardous wastes, fuels and industrial maintenance. Direct feeds for reactive materials and witness burns are a specialty.

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE / FIELD SERVICESOur safety training meets or exceeds general industry training requirements.Service offerings include, pipeline drain ups and vacuum truck support, tank cleaning and removal; pit, sump, manhole, process and trench cleaning; paint booth cleaning, plant decommissioning and decontamination; CO2, soda & 10- 40 K water blasting, confined space entries performed daily, hydroexcavation, and emergency spill response. All crews are fully trained, full-time Heritage employees.

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES - TRUCK AND RAILHeritage Transport, LLC operates an extensive fleet consisting of rail, tanker, van trailer, dump, and roll-off equipment to service the continental U.S. Our nationwide logistic capabilities include the transportation of hazardous materials and waste via truckload and less than truckload. Additionally, we operate a fleet of intermodal railcars. By directly facilitating the transport of hundreds of thousands of tons shipped via rail, Heritage has become a recognized leader in the transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials by this means.

RETAIL SERVICESHeritage has provided nationwide management of damaged, out-of-date, non-viable commercial materials for almost 20 years. We understand that end-of-life management of non-viable materials is key to retailers and merchandisers wishing to focus on safety, regulatory compliance and brand protection. Our unmatched compliance record, extensive transportation network, internal fixed assets, and trained personnel set Heritage apart.

HEALTHCARE SERVICESHeritage works with hospitals, pharmacies, and other businesses that generate healthcare related waste. From expired medication and regulated medical waste disposal to the development and implementation of customized total byproduct disposal programs. Heritage provides experts in the field that will work with you to find safe, compliant and cost effective solutions for all of your disposal needs. With services ranging from our onsite technical support and training, to our easy to use mailback programs, Heritage makes properly disposing of your healthcare related wastes easier than ever before.

NATIONAL PROGRAM SERVICESHeritage has years of experience providing a variety of customized, detailed and sophisticated national programs to manage small amounts of waste generated from multiple customer locations. Heritage customers find that Heritage programs ensure environmental compliance, greatly reduce their current and future liabilities and provide protection of the company’s brand and reputation. Heritage comprehensive programs include: Uniformity across all locations, Single Point of Contact, Tracking & Reporting, and Training.

LABPACK / HHWOur Chemical Pack Programs are managed by highly trained field chemist crews to inventory, characterize, segregate and package off-spec, out-of-date, and unknown chemicals in quantities of five gallons or less. They are then packaged and prepared for shipment, meeting all regulatory and labeling requirements, including manifesting and providing any other necessary shipping documents.

Since the majority of hazardous materials used in homes today can be disposed of safely by Heritage, we created our Household Hazardous Waste Program to provide consumers with safe disposal solutions for their discarded household cleaning and maintenance products.

WHERE IS HERITAGE?

Heritage operations consist of five (5) waste treatment and disposal facilities (including a RCRA incinerator and a RCRA Subtitle C landfill), an environmental laboratory, and nine (9) remedial and emergency response centers. In addition to the Heritage fixed facilities, Heritage operates a number of treatment plants and on-site operations for clients throughout the United States.

Heritage has 4 RCRA Part B permitted Treatment Storage and Disposal (TSD) facilities: Indianapolis, Indiana; Kansas City, Missouri; Coolidge, Arizona; and our incineration plant in East Liverpool, Ohio.

Heritage maintains a network of 10-day truck to truck locations to provide nationwide coverage. The Heritage locations can provide LTL and dedicated truck transportation services and several offer Field Services (e.g., turnkey Lab Pack services), Industrial Maintenance and/or Emergency Response Services.

Heritage has also added two facilities devoted to the recycling/reuse of customers’ products. The Heritage locations, in Iowa City, Iowa and Greensboro, North Carolina, specialize in the de-packaging and recycling of consumer products that were previously going to an incinerator.
