Day 1 - Arrival and bush welcome

Upon arrival at Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa, guests are greeted with a glass of sparkling wine sourced from one of the local vineyards and take in the breathtaking sites of the mountains and typical Australian bushland as the sun sets in the distance. Guests may be lucky to see some of the local kangaroos or wombats in their natural habitat.

After check-in and downtime, guests are treated to a casual buffet dinner in the 1832 Heritage Homestead, where the fully restored and functioning kitchen garden provides the resort with fresh, seasonal produce.

Arrive in to Sydney international airport; a warm welcome to Australia with meet and greet services by CC:Your Australian DMC and transfer to the helicopter terminal nearby.

Your group experiences a bird’s eye view over Sydney’s spectacular harbour and nearby beaches before heading West over the beautiful, rugged Blue Mountains and arriving at their luxurious bush retreat, Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa. This unique spa resort is built around a fully restored homestead and nestles within its own private conservation and nature reserve, boasting stunning scenery of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.

Day 2 - Enjoying the Australian bushGuests enjoy breakfast at leisure in the resort restaurant.

Then enjoy a morning of Wild or Mild Bush optional activities, including:

Guided Horse Riding - The Wolgan Valley is a land made for riding, and there is no better way to explore its beautiful hills, creeks and ridgelines than on horseback. After a brief assessment of riding skills, the group will set off on their ride, accompanied by an experienced Field Guide, and proceed through native Eucalypt forests, taking in the sights and sounds of this hidden valley. Trails include stream & river crossings, scenic ridgelines & native woodlands.

Day 3 - Bush to city

Spa Treatments - The Timeless Spa is a sanctuary, a place to escape, be nurtured and renew your sense of being. Expert therapists embrace you with intuitive touch and the healing qualities of aromatherapy from 100% chemical free Sodashi skin care. Drawing on the essence of the Wolgan Valley and surrounds, signature therapies have been crafted specifically for the Timeless Spa and offer a unique and enriching spa experience.

Lunch is in the resort Dining Room and offers an elegant, yet relaxed ambience. The spacious restaurant spills out onto the stunning veranda with panoramic views of the resort and beyond.

Dinner at Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa is an Australian BBQ under the stars with local Aborigines performing and telling stories of the Dreamtime.

Guests enjoy breakfast at leisure in the resort restaurant.

After breakfast guests depart on a limousine tour back to Sydney. Along the way they will take in the beauty of the majestic Blue Mountains, stopping at the iconic Three Sisters, a natural rock formation. The tour includes lunch at a private venue – its dining room and garden offer the most magnificent views imaginable, overlooking Mount Solitary, Kings Tableland and the Jamison Valley, all the way to the Southern Highlands.

The tour continues after lunch through the Blue Mountains, stopping for afternoon tea enroute back to Sydney.

Guests arrive in the early evening at the beautiful Park Hyatt Sydney – perched in a prime position on Sydney Harbour under the Harbour Bridge and overlooking the Opera House. Guests enjoy local fine Australian wine as they check in.

Guests meet for pre-dinner drinks followed by dinner at the hotel’s luxurious new Guest House. Located on the very edge of Sydney Harbour, this venue offers uninterrupted views of the Opera House and presents a unique event space for up to 60 guests. The Guest House’s exclusive presentation kitchen, coupled with a private outdoor terrace on Sydney’s harbour front, makes it the perfect setting to enjoy the local food and wine Australia is known for.

Day 4 - A day in SydneyBreakfast is at leisure before experiencing “life by a local’’ on a famous ferry ride to Taronga Zoo. Upon arrival at the zoo, guests board the cable car and enjoy their private guided tour. Guests will get up close and personal with kangaroos, koalas and snakes – and all the other animals that Australia is famous for – all overlooking Sydney Harbour with some of the most breathtaking views in town!

After a morning at the zoo, guests head to their chosen lunch venue. Some of these venues include:

• Fly by seaplane to Jonah’s at Palm Beach, with a different vista of the Sydney waters.• Cruise by private boat around the pristine waters and experience lunch at Bathers Pavilion in Balmoral, a

Sydney institution.• Cruise to Watsons Bay – at the entry to Sydney Harbour - and enjoy a casual lunch of fish and chips.

The group is then transferred by Harley Davidson to the world famous Bondi Beach. Afternoon tea is in Bondi at the hip and chic Icebergs (optional late afternoon walk to Bronte beach with bus transfer after) or return to the hotel by Harley Davidson.

Coach transfers to dinner at Tetsuysa’s – a Sydney institution: Tetsuya Wakuda refurbished a heritage-listed site, with influences of traditional Japanese-inspired style, to create a serene dining enclave in the city. The restaurant offers three main dining areas overlooking an exquisite Japanese garden, private yet atmospheric rooms for larger groups too. Every room also features pieces from Tetsuya's eclectic art and ceramic collection, from delicate Japanese porcelain to bold Australian sculptures. The cuisine is unique, based on the Japanese philosophy of using natural seasonal flavours, and enhanced by classic French technique. Tetsuya’s serves a ten course degustation menu and optimises what Australian food is all about. Fresh, multicultural and superb.

Day 5 - The best of SydneyBreakfast is at leisure in the hotel.

Guests enjoy the choice of their pre-selected activities:• BridgeClimb, followed by lunch in the city.• Food safari experiencing the multicultural delights of Sydney, followed by lunch in the Italian area

of Sydney, Leichardt.• Kayaking Sydney harbour, followed by lunch at Balmoral Beach. • Surf lessons at Bondi beach, followed by lunch in Bondi.

After lunch guests have the afternoon at leisure to enjoy anywhere and everywhere in Sydney. A concierge service is available for assistance with ideas, options and transport.

In the evening, an open-top bus transfers guests to dinner with special celebrity appearances by well-known Aussie icons (Kath and Kim OR Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott or we can create characters your guests may know better, such as Bindi and Terri Irwin or Crocodile Dundee or the team from Priscilla, Queen of the Desert).

Dinner is in a secluded, private harbourside venue (not available to others) and includes the freshest local beef and seafood and regional NSW wines.

On arrival on Hamilton Island, guests sip champagne and enjoy morning tea as they soak in sights of the stunning aquamarine waters enroute to Hayman Island. Upon arrival, guests check in and are given their own lunch picnic baskets to enjoy anywhere on the island - whether it be poolside, on the beach or on the balcony overlooking the pool and calm island waters.The afternoon is for relaxation and enjoyment. Guests can pre-book massages at the day spa or choose to sip cocktails poolside or swim in the calm azure waters.Your island welcome dinner is in Rainforest Grove - nestled in a tropical canopy amidst stunning garden surrounds.

Day 6 - City to Island escapeBreakfast is at leisure in the hotel.The guests depart the hotel by limousine transfers to Sydney domestic terminal for flights to the Great Barrier Reef.

Day 7 - Island paradise found!Breakfast is at leisure at the resort.Depart for a trip to Langford Island for a day of snorkelling and a private lunch. Enjoy a fun day on the beach as well as exploring the wonderful underwater world while snorkelling. It’s a great option for turtle spotting!

Later in the evening, enjoy a grilled seafood BBQ dinner set up on a long table adorned with candlelight on the beach overlooking the clear waters and vivid sunset of the stunning Whitsundays. It’s a beautiful way to reflect on the bush, city and island adventures - creating memories of a lifetime!

Day 8 - Goodbye AustraliaAfter breakfast at leisure, guests depart by seaplane to the airport to make international connections home via Sydney.

Pricing is seasonal and is available upon enquiry. This itinerary is based on an 8 day program but can be shortened or lengthened, depending upon the timing required. The itinerary is based on premium products but less expensive and even higher standard of product and services can be quoted.
