INTRODUTION An amusement park sometimes referred to as a

funfair or theme park is a group of entertainment, attractions, rides, and other events in a location for the enjoyment of large numbers of people.

A theme park has landscaping, buildings, and attractions that are based on one or more specific themes or stories

The world's oldest amusement park appeared in the Continent. Bakken (The Hill), north of Copenhagen, Denmark, opened in 1583.

Educational theme parks- Some parks use rides and attractions for educational purposes. Disney was the first to successfully open a large-scale theme park built around education .

Family-owned theme parks-- Some theme parks did evolve from more traditional amusement park enterprises, such as Knott's Berry Farm. In the 1920s, Walter Knott and his family sold berries from a roadside stand, which grew to include a restaurant serving fried chicken dinners.

RIDES AND ATTRACTION Mechanized thrill machines are a

defining feature of amusement parks. The origins of roller coasters can be traced back to 17th-century Russia.

Veegaland , Kerala The Veegaland Amusement Park is the most popular

amusement park of Kerala mainly because it is India's first water theme park .

It is situated in Pallikara of Ernakulum district and covers an area of 30 acres.

It is a state-of-the-art amusement park with a fairy tale atmosphere.

It is a beautiful park with dainty architecture and houses many musical fountains, pools, flower gardens, water slides and a Kidde Ride section for entertaining toddlers.

The boat ride that goes into a cave filled with mystery is quite popular.

The park also has a 3D movie theatre.

 Some of entertainment offered by these rides includes Bumping Cars, Musical fountain and laser show.

Wonderla , Bangalore Wonderla Holidays Limited is a leading amusement park designing and

operating company in India headquartered near Bidadi, 28 kilometers from Bangalore.

It is promoted by Kochouseph Chittilappilly and his son Arun Chittilappilly.

The first amusement park, Wonderla Kochi, was set up in 2000.

The parks have been set up with a total investment of over ₹ 2.5 billion Opened in 2005

The second theme park  project from the company and has been operational since October 2005.

Essel world , Mumbai EsselWorld is an amusement park located in Gorai, Mumbai and

established in 1989.

The park is owned by Pan India Paryatan Pvt. Ltd..
