MEMORAI\IDUM OF TJNDERSTANDING BETWEEN Ambuja Cement- a registered company AND Saurostra University - an Academic Institution This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is enteredbetween Ambuja Cement,a company incorporated under the IndianCompanies Act, 1956 havingits registered office, and represented by its undersigned of the ONE PART; andSaurastra Universitlt,a Gujaratbased college / universityrepresented by undersigned of the OTHER PART; Yther|as Ambuia Cement and Saurastra Universityshall be hereinafter jointly referred to as the "Parties" andsingularly asa ,,pas |'-. The Parties has decided to agree to establish industry-academic collaboration in areas of mutual interest and in accordancewith terms and conditions set forth in this Memorandum of Understanding (MotI), Ambuia Cementand Saurastrallniversity agree on following activities: l' Ambuja Cement will provide supportfor designing the coursecurriculum at Saurastra University which would be relevant for industry. To achieve this, seniorofficials fromAmbuja Cement will work in closecollaboration with faculty members of Saurastra (Iniversity. 2' Once a curriculum is designedand courses relevant to industry are offered at Saurastra University, seniorofficials fromAmbuia Cement will share their knowledge and experience by way of taking sessions, participating in seminars and other academic activiti es of Saurastra University. 3' embuia Cement will offer summer internship to interested students of Saurastra (Jniversity at its offrces / project-locations so that the students get hands on experience of live projects. The nurnberof students, who can be considered for internship,would be as mutually decided betweenAmbuja cement and saurastra (Iniversity every year. 4' Ambuia Cement will arrange to provide periodic field visits to faculty and studentsof Saurostra University at its project sitesto enable them to get practical exposure and learning from interaction with members of Ambuja cement 's project-teams. 5' Depending on requirement,Ambuia Cement may offer specific projects with identified deliverables to be executed by Saurastra University. Detail modalities including financials would be mutually worked out for each project/assignment. 6' After Saurastra Univercity startsoffering courses relevantto the industry in which Ambuja Cement operates and basedits requirements, Ambuja Cement may participate in campus placements; when it doesso,Ambuia Cement will be given priority status like invitation for zero-day placement etc. 7' Saurastra Universitywill give preference to officials of Ambuja Cementin pursuing advance trainingand/or post graduation studies at its variousschools. Each Party shallappoint one nodalofficer to periodically reviewand identifu waysto strengthen cooperation between them. The Parties has decided to agree to establish industry-academic collaboration in areas of mutualinterest and in accordance with terms and conditions set forth in this Memorandum ofUnderstanding (MotI), Ambuia Cement and Saurastra llniversity agree on following activities:

Each Party shall appoint one nodal officer to periodically review and identifu ways to strengthencooperation between them.
This MoU will take effect from the date it is signed by representatives of the parties. It will
