The right of citizens of the United Statesto vote shall not be denied or abridgedby the United States or by any State on

account of sex. Congress shall have power to enforce

this article by appropriate legislation.

This is important because women, likemy mom, or my girl friend would not beallowed to vote without thisamendment. That would cut the voicesof an election b almost half.

Amendment 4

The right of the people to be secure in theirpersons, houses, papers, and effects, againstunreasonable searches and seizures, shallnot be violated, and no Warrants shall issue,

but upon probable cause, supported by Oathor affirmation, and particularly describing theplace to be searched, and the persons orthings to be seized.

This is very important to me it says thepolice cannot take or search my propertywithout probable cause, your permission, ora search warrant.

Amendment 8 Excessive bail shall not be required,

This is VERY important to mebecause if I get arrested, they cannotcharge me a million dollars for a

Amendment 14

1. All persons born or naturalized in theUnited States, and subject to the jurisdictionthereof, are citizens of the United States andof the State wherein they reside. No State

shall make or enforce any law which shallabridge the privileges or immunities ofcitizens of the United States; nor shall anyState deprive any person of life, liberty, orproperty, without due process of law; nor

deny to any person within its jurisdiction theequal protection of the laws. This allowed my grandmas aunt to be able to

live and pursue happiness like every otherperson no matter their color.

1. No person shall be elected to the office of thePresident more than twice, and no person whohas held the office of President, or acted asPresident, for more than two years of a term towhich some other person was elected President

shall be elected to the office of the Presidentmore than once. But this Article shall not applyto any person holding the office of President,when this Article was proposed by the Congress,and shall not prevent any person who may beholding the office of President, or acting as

President, during the term within which thisArticle becomes operative from holding the officeof President or acting as President during theremainder of such term.

This is important because without this ourpresidency could be in one persons control for

too long, which is not what our founders wanted.
