WHAT IS AMD?

AMD is a company who design and build technology.

This technology is used in computing devices, gaming systems,

digital devices and cloud servers used every day.

HISTORY OF AMD

AMD means Advanced Micro Devices

AMD was founding in 1969 by Jerry Sanders.

In 1970  AMD began to make products more efficient and faster.

The rest years continue doing upgrades like the 4-bit shift, the jump to 64-bits, his products was compatible whit Intel.

In 2013 AMD's technology is featured inside every major next generation gaming console and home entertainment system: Microsoft's Xbox One, Sony's PS4™, and Nintendo's Wii U.

Apple® its radically redesigned Mac Pro will feature dual AMD FirePro™ graphics cards, improving both the visual and general computing performance of Apple's high-end system and providing the power needed by the most demanding digital content creators.

WHAT COMPONENTS AMD BUILD?

Desktop, Notebook products, Workstation products, Server products.

But now, all the attention is in GAMING products,

this products are graphis cards, processors, chipsets.

They also build technologies of drivers.

But they build a new type of processor, this APU; APU is new because it has the graphics integred and is a processor so, now when you buy a new computer, you don´t needed to buy a graphic card.

This is something who anyone do before.

They was fighting since the begining between them about who has the best products.

But INTEL and AMD looks for differents ways, AMD looks to do a lot of processes very quicly, and INTEL looks to do one processe very powerful.

AMD products have an excellent relation between the quality of the product and the price.
