4 SETTINGS PROTECTIONS
4.1 Settings
The selectivity between the protections can be realized in the mode defined below:
• zone selectivity
• directional selectivity• current selectivity
• chronometric selectivity
• current / chronometric selectivity
• logical selectivity
• selectivity test
The choice of the type of selectivity to be taken is linked to the following parameters:limits imposed by the systemprotections functionsshort circuit lelev
The current system adopted foresees the realization of a type of selectivity, chronometric / amp.
The range between the time settings of protection was calculated by the following:

Were also undertaken the following key assumptions:
a) The transformers current transformers (CTs) are considered suitable for the detection of short-circuit current in the transitional arrangement.
b) It is assumed the maximum efficiency of protections installed and corrected the links betweenguards and auxiliary current transformers and voltage.
c) DT min (MV) = 150ms, DT min (LV) = 100ms.
