This policy is a legal contract between you and us. Acoverage applies only when a premium for it isshown on the Policy Declarations. If more than oneauto is insured, premiums will be shown for eachauto. However, only one premium will be shown forAutomobile Death Indemnity, Automobile DisabilityIncome and Uninsured Motorists Insuranceregardless of the number of autos insured. If you paythe premiums when due and comply with the policyterms, we, relying on the information you have givenus, make the following agreements with you.

When And Where The Policy AppliesYour policy applies only during the policy period.During this time, it applies to losses to the auto,accidents and occurrences within the United Statesof America, its territories or possessions or Canada,or between their ports.

The policy period is shown on the PolicyDeclarations. If we offer to renew your policy, youmay continue the policy for a successive period of sixmonths by paying the required premium when due. Ifthe required premium payment isn’t received whendue, the insurance coverage described in therenewal offer and any endorsements to the renewaloffer will not become effective.

Limited Mexico CoverageFor your protection you should purchase insurancefrom a company licensed in Mexico. However, thecoverage of this policy for an insured privatepassenger or utility auto is extended to cover thatauto within the Republic of Mexico. This coverageapplies only while the insured auto is within 75 milesof the United States border and only for a period notto exceed ten days after each separate entry into theRepublic of Mexico.

If loss or damage occurs which may require repair ofthe insured auto or replacement of any part(s) whilethe auto is in Mexican territory, the basis for

adjustment of the claim will be as follows. The repairor replacement costs will not exceed the cost ofhaving the repairs or replacements made at thenearest point in the United States where the repairsor replacements can be made. The cost for towing,transportation and salvage operations of the autowhile within Mexican territory are not covered underthis policy.

WARNING

Unless you have auto or aircraft insurance written bya Mexican insurance company, you may spend manyhours or days in jail if you have an accident inMexico. Insurance coverage should be secured froma company licensed under the laws of Mexico towrite such insurance in order to avoid complicationsand some other penalties possible under the laws ofMexico, including the possible impoundment of yourauto or aircraft.

ChangesPremium ChangesThe premium for each auto is based on informationwe have received from you or other sources. Youagree to cooperate with us in determining if thisinformation is correct, if it is complete, and if itchanges during the policy period. You agree that ifthis information changes or is incorrect orincomplete, we may adjust your premiumaccordingly during the policy period.

Changes which result in a premium adjustment arecontained in our rules. These include, but are notlimited to:1. autos insured by the policy, including changes

in use.

2. drivers residing in your household, their agesor marital status.

3. coverages or coverage limits.

4. rating territory.

5. discount eligibility.

Any calculation or adjustment of your premium willbe made using the rules, rates and forms in effect,and on file if required, for our use in your state.

Coverage ChangesWhen we broaden a coverage during the policyperiod without additional charge, you have the newfeature if you have the coverage to which it applies.The new feature applies on the date the coveragechange is effective in your state. Otherwise, thepolicy can be changed only by endorsement. Anychange in your coverage will be made using therules, rates and forms in effect, and on file ifrequired, for our use in your state.

Duty To Report Policy ChangesYour policy was issued in reliance on the informationyou provided concerning autos and persons insuredby the policy. To properly insure your auto, youshould promptly notify us when you change youraddress or whenever any resident operators insuredby this policy are added or deleted.

You must tell us within 30 days when you acquire areplacement auto. If you don’t, certain coverages ofthis policy may not apply.

When you acquire an additional auto, we will provide30 days of coverage immediately after you becomethe owner. However, we will provide this coverageonly if:1. you acquire the auto during the policy period;

2. you tell us within 30 days of acquiring theauto;

3. no other insurance policy provides coveragefor the auto; and

4. you pay the additional premium.

We will not provide coverage for more than 30 daysunless:1. you ask us to insure the additional auto within

30 days after you become the owner;

2. we agree to provide the coverage you selectfor this auto; and

3. you pay the additional premium.

COMBINING LIMITS OF TWO OR MOREAUTOS PROHIBITEDIF YOU HAVE TWO OR MORE AUTOS INSURED INYOUR NAME AND ONE OF THESE AUTOS IS INVOLVEDIN AN ACCIDENT, ONLY THE COVERAGE LIMITSSHOWN ON THE POLICY DECLARATIONS FOR THATAUTO WILL APPLY. WHEN YOU HAVE TWO OR MOREAUTOS INSURED IN YOUR NAME AND NONE OF THEMIS INVOLVED IN THE ACCIDENT, YOU MAY CHOOSEANY SINGLE AUTO SHOWN ON THE POLICYDECLARATIONS AND THE COVERAGE LIMITSAPPLICABLE TO THAT AUTO WILL APPLY.

THE LIMITS AVAILABLE FOR ANY OTHER AUTOCOVERED BY THE POLICYWILL NOT BE ADDED TOTHE COVERAGE FOR THE INVOLVED OR CHOSENAUTO.

TransferThis policy can’t be transferred to anyone without ourwritten consent. However, if you die, coverage willbe provided until the end of the policy period for:1. your legal representative while acting as such,

and

2. persons covered on the date of your death.

CancellationYou may cancel this policy by notifying us the futuredate you wish to stop coverage.

We may cancel part or all of this policy by mailingnotice to you at your last known address. If wecancel because you didn’t pay the premium, the dateof cancellation will be at least 10 days after the dateof mailing. If we cancel for any reason other thannon-payment of premium, we will give you notice asfollows:1. During the first 60 days the original policy is in

effect, we will give you at least 10 days noticeof cancellation.

2. After the first 60 days, we will give you 30days notice of cancellation.

Proof of mailing the notice will be proof of notice. Arefund, if due, will be proportional to the time yourpolicy has been in effect, but cancellation will beeffective even if the refund is not made immediately.

After your original policy has been in effect 60 days,we won’t cancel your coverage during the policyperiod unless:1. you don’t pay the premium when it’s due;

2. you or any member of your household areconvicted of a crime due to acts whichincrease the hazard we insure against;

3. fraud or material misrepresentation is used inobtaining the policy or making a claim;

4. an act or omission, or a violation of anycondition of the policy, occurs during thepolicy period which substantially andmaterially increases the hazard we insureagainst;

5. a material change in the nature or extent of therisk occurs during the policy period whichcauses the risk of loss to be substantially andmaterially increased; or

6. we have mailed notice within the first 60 daysthat we don’t intend to continue the policy.

If we don’t intend to continue the policy beyond thecurrent policy period, we will mail you notice at least30 days before the end of the policy period.

Any unearned premium amounts under $2.00 will berefunded only upon your request.

TerminationIf we offer to renew your policy and your requiredpremium isn’t received when due, you will haverejected our renewal offer. This means that theinsurance coverage described in the renewal offerand any endorsements to the renewal offer will notbecome effective.

PaymentIf we mail a cancellation notice because you didn’tpay the required premium when due and you then

tender payment by check, draft, or other remittancewhich is not honored upon presentation, your policywill terminate on the date and time shown on thecancellation notice and any notice we issue whichwaives the cancellation or reinstates coverage isvoid. This means that we will not be liable under thispolicy for claims or damage after the date and timeindicated on the cancellation notice.

What Law Will ApplyThis policy is issued in accordance with the laws ofNevada and covers property or risks principallylocated in Nevada. Subject to the followingparagraph, any and all claims or disputes in any wayrelated to this policy shall be governed by the laws ofNevada.

If a covered loss to the auto, a covered autoaccident, or any other occurrence for which coverageapplies under this policy happens outside Nevada,claims or disputes regarding that covered loss to theauto, covered auto accident, or other coveredoccurrence may be governed by the laws of thejurisdiction in which that covered loss to the auto,covered auto accident, or other covered occurrencehappened, only if the laws of that jurisdiction wouldapply in the absence of a contractual choice of lawprovision such as this.

Where Lawsuits May Be BroughtSubject to the following two paragraphs, any and alllawsuits in any way related to this policy shall bebrought, heard, and decided only in a state or federalcourt located in Nevada. Any and all lawsuits againstpersons not parties to this policy but involved in thesale, administration, performance, or alleged breachof this policy or involved in any other way with thispolicy, shall be brought, heard, and decided only in astate or federal court located in Nevada, providedthat such persons are subject to or consent to suit inthe courts specified in this paragraph.

If a covered loss to the auto, a covered autoaccident, or any other occurrence for which coverageapplies under this policy happens outside Nevada,lawsuits regarding that covered loss to the auto,covered auto accident, or other covered occurrencemay also be brought in the judicial district where that

covered loss to the auto, covered auto accident, orother covered occurrence happened.

Nothing in this provision, Where Lawsuits May BeBrought, shall impair any party’s right to remove astate court lawsuit to a federal court.

Part 1Automobile Liability InsuranceBodily Injury Coverage AAProperty Damage Coverage BBWe will pay damages an insured person is legallyobligated to pay because of:1. bodily injury sustained by any person, and

2. damage to, or destruction of, property.

Under these coverages, your policy protects aninsured person from liability for damages arising outof the ownership, maintenance or use, loading orunloading of an insured auto.

We will defend an insured person sued for damageswhich are covered by this policy, even if the suit isgroundless or false. We will choose the counsel. Wemay settle any claim or suit if we believe it is proper.We will not defend an insured person sued fordamages which are not covered by this policy.

Additional Payments We Will MakeWhen we defend an insured person under this part,we will pay:1. up to $50 a day for loss of wages or salary if

we ask that person to attend hearings or trialsto defend against a bodily injury suit. We won’tpay for loss of other income. We will pay otherreasonable expenses incurred at our request.

2. court costs for defense.

3. interest accruing on damages awarded. Wewill pay this interest only until we have paid,offered, or deposited in court the amount forwhich we are liable under this policy. We willonly pay interest on damages not exceedingour limits of liability.

4. premiums on appeal bonds and on bonds torelease attachments, but not in excess of our

limit of liability. We aren’t required to apply foror furnish these bonds.

We will repay an insured person for:1. the cost of any bail bonds required due to an

accident or traffic law violation involving theuse of the insured auto. We won’t pay morethan $300 per bond. We aren’t required toapply for or furnish these bonds.

2. any expense incurred for first aid to others atthe time of an auto accident involving theinsured auto.

Insured Persons1. While using your insured auto:

a) you,b) any resident, andc) any other person using it with your

permission.

2. While using a non-owned auto:a) you, andb) any resident relative using a four wheel

private passenger auto or utility auto.

3. Any other person or organization liable for theuse of an insured auto if the auto is not ownedor hired by the person or organization providedthe use is by an insured person under 1. or 2.above.

Insured Autos1. Any auto described on the Policy Declarations.

This includes the four wheel private passengerauto or utility auto you replace it with.

2. An additional four wheel private passengerauto or utility auto you acquire immediatelyafter you become the owner.

However, we will provide this coverage only ifwe or one of our affiliates insure all otherprivate passenger autos or utility autos youown, and you pay the additional premium.

Coverage will be continued beyond this 30 dayperiod only if:

a) you ask us to continue coverage within 30days after you acquire the auto or utilityauto;

b) we agree to continue coverage for thisadditional auto or utility auto; and

c) you pay the additional premium.

3. A substitute four wheel private passenger autoor utility auto not owned by you or a resident,being temporarily used while your insuredauto is being serviced or repaired, or if yourinsured auto is stolen or destroyed.

4. A non-owned auto used by you or a residentrelative with the owner’s permission. This automust not be available or furnished for theregular use of an insured person.

5. A trailer while attached to an insured auto. Thetrailer must be designed for use with a privatepassenger auto or utility auto. This trailercan’t be used for business purposes with otherthan a private passenger auto or utility auto.

Definitions1. We, Us, or Our means the company as shown

on the Policy Declarations.

2. Auto means a land motor vehicle designed foruse on public roads.

3. Bodily injury means bodily injury, sickness,disease or death.

4. Resident means a person who physicallyresides in your household with the intention ofcontinuing residence there. Your unmarrieddependent children while temporarily awayfrom home will be considered residents if theyintend to resume residing in your household.

5. Utility auto means an auto of the pick-upbody, sedan delivery or panel truck type. Thisauto must have a rated load capacity of notmore than 2,000 pounds.

6. You or Your means the policyholder named onthe Policy Declarations and that policyholder’sresident spouse.

Exclusions What Is Not CoveredWe will not pay for any damages an insured person islegally obligated to pay because of:1. bodily injury or property damage arising out of

the use of your insured auto while used tocarry persons or property for a charge, or anyauto you are driving while available for hire bythe public to the extent that the limits ofliability for this coverage exceed the limits ofliability required by the Nevada financialresponsibility law. This exclusion does notapply to shared-expense car pools.

2. bodily injury or property damage arising out ofthe use of a non-owned auto in any businessor occupation of an insured person to theextent that the limits of liability for thiscoverage exceed the limits of liability requiredby the Nevada financial responsibility law.However, this exclusion does not apply whileyou, your chauffeur or domestic servant areusing a private passenger auto or trailer.

3. bodily injury to an employee of any insuredperson arising in the course of employment.This exclusion does apply to your domesticemployee who is not required to be covered bya workers compensation law or similar law.

4. bodily injury to a co-worker injured in thecourse of employment. This exclusion does notapply to you.

5. damage to or destruction of property aninsured person owns, transports, is in chargeof, or rents. However, a private residence or agarage rented by that person is covered.

6. bodily injury or property damage which mayreasonably be expected to result from theintentional acts of an insured person or whichare in fact intended by an insured person tothe extent that the limits of liability for thiscoverage exceed the limits of liability requiredby the Nevada financial responsibility law.

7. bodily injury or property damage which wouldalso be covered under nuclear energy liabilityinsurance to the extent that the limits of

liability for this coverage exceed the limits ofliability required by the Nevada financialresponsibility law. This applies even if thelimits of that insurance are exhausted.

8. bodily injury or property damage arising out ofthe participation in any prearranged,organized, or spontaneous:a) racing contest;b) speed contest; orc) use of an auto at a track or course

designed or used for racing or highperformance driving;

or in practice or preparation for any contest oruse of this type.

Financial ResponsibilityWhen this policy is certified as proof under any motorvehicle financial responsibility law, this policy willcomply with the provisions of that law.

LIMITS OF LIABILITYTHE LIMITS SHOWN ON THE POLICY DECLARATIONSARE THE MAXIMUM WE WILL PAYFOR ANY SINGLEAUTO ACCIDENT. THE LIMIT STATED FOR EACHPERSON FOR BODILY INJURY IS OUR TOTAL LIMIT OFLIABILITY FOR DAMAGES BECAUSE OF BODILYINJURY SUSTAINED BY ONE PERSON IN ANY SINGLEAUTO ACCIDENT, INCLUDING DAMAGES SUSTAINEDBYANYONE ELSE AS A RESULT OF THAT BODILYINJURY. SUBJECT TO THE LIMIT FOR EACH PERSON,THE LIMIT STATED FOR EACH OCCURRENCE IS OURTOTAL LIMIT OF LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES FORBODILY INJURY SUSTAINED BY TWO OR MOREPERSONS IN ANY SINGLE AUTO ACCIDENT. FORPROPERTY DAMAGE, THE LIMIT APPLIES TODAMAGES ARISING FROM EACH OCCURRENCE.

THE LIABILITY LIMITS APPLY TO EACH INSURED AUTOAS SHOWN ON THE POLICY DECLARATIONS. THEINSURING OF MORE THAN ONE PERSON OR AUTOUNDER THIS POLICY WILL NOT INCREASE OURLIABILITY LIMITS BEYOND THE AMOUNT SHOWN FORANY ONE AUTO, EVEN THOUGH A SEPARATEPREMIUM IS CHARGED FOR EACH AUTO. THE LIMITSALSO WON’T BE INCREASED IF YOU HAVE OTHERAUTO INSURANCE POLICIES THAT APPLY.

THERE WILL BE NO DUPLICATION OF PAYMENTSMADE UNDER THE BODILY INJURY LIABILITYCOVERAGE, UNINSURED MOTORISTS COVERAGE,AND MEDICAL PAYMENTS COVERAGE OF THISPOLICY.

AN AUTO AND ATTACHED TRAILER ARE CONSIDEREDONE AUTO. ALSO, AN AUTO AND A MOUNTEDCAMPER UNIT, TOPPER, CAP OR CANOPY ARECONSIDERED ONE AUTO.

IF THERE IS OTHER INSURANCEIF AN INSURED PERSON IS USING A SUBSTITUTEPRIVATE PASSENGER AUTO OR NON-OWNED AUTO,OUR LIABILITY INSURANCE WILL BE EXCESS OVEROTHER COLLECTIBLE INSURANCE. IF MORE THANONE POLICY APPLIES ON A PRIMARY BASIS TO ANACCIDENT INVOLVING YOUR INSURED AUTO, WE WILLBEAR OUR PROPORTIONATE SHARE WITH OTHERCOLLECTIBLE LIABILITY INSURANCE.

THIS INSURANCE WILL BE EXCESS OVER ANYINSURANCE COVERING AN AUTOMOBILE BUSINESSWHILE YOUR INSURED AUTO IS BEING OPERATED BYA PERSON ENGAGED IN THAT AUTOMOBILEBUSINESS. AN AUTOMOBILE BUSINESS INCLUDESREPAIRING, SERVICING, TESTING, PARKING,STORING, DELIVERING, OR SELLING OF AUTOS.

IF AN INSURED PERSON IS OPERATING AN AUTOOWNED BY AN AUTOMOBILE BUSINESS, BEINGTEMPORARILYUSED WHILE YOUR INSURED AUTO ISBEING REPAIRED OR SERVICED BY THAT BUSINESS,THIS INSURANCE WILL BE PRIMARY.

Assistance And CooperationWhen we ask, an insured person must cooperatewith us in the investigation, settlement and defenseof any claim or lawsuit. If we ask, that person mustalso help us obtain payment from anyone who maybe jointly responsible.

We can’t be obligated if an insured person voluntarilytakes any action or makes any payments other thanfor covered expenses for bail bonds or first aid toothers.

Action Against UsNo insured person may sue us under this coverageunless there is full compliance with all the policyterms.

If liability has been determined by judgment aftertrial, or by written agreement among the insured, theother person, and us, then whoever obtains thisjudgment or agreement against an insured person,may sue us up to the limits of this policy. However,no one has the right to join us in a suit to determinelegal responsibility.

The bankruptcy or insolvency of an insured person orthat person’s estate won’t relieve us of anyobligation.

What To Do In Case Of An Accident OrClaimIf an insured person has an auto accident, we mustbe informed promptly of all details. If an insuredperson is sued as the result of an auto accident, wemust be informed immediately.

Part 2Automobile Medical PaymentsCoverage CCWe will pay to or on behalf of an insured person allreasonable expenses actually incurred by the insuredperson for necessary medical treatment, services, orproducts actually provided to the insured person.Payments will be made only when bodily injury,sickness, disease, or death is caused by an autoaccident. Ambulance, hospital, medical, surgical,X-ray, dental, orthopedic and prosthetic devices,professional nursing services, pharmaceuticals,eyeglasses, hearing aids, and funeral serviceexpenses are covered.

The treatment, services, or products must berendered within one year after the accident. This willbe extended to five years if the amount of insuranceshown on the Policy Declarations for this coverage ismore than $5,000.

This coverage does not apply to any person to theextent that treatment is covered under any workerscompensation law.

Insured Persons1. You and any resident relative who sustains

bodily injury while in, on, getting into or out of,or when struck by, an auto or trailer. The useof a non-owned auto must be with the owner’spermission.

2. Any other person who sustains bodily injurywhile in, on, getting into or out of:a) your insured auto while being used by

you, a resident relative, or any otherperson with your permission.

b) a non-owned auto if the injury resultsfrom your operation or occupancy.

c) a non-owned auto if the injury resultsfrom the operation on your behalf by yourprivate chauffeur or domestic servant.

d) a non-owned private passenger auto ortrailer if the injury results from theoperation or occupancy by a residentrelative.

The use of non-owned autos must be with theowner’s permission.

Insured Autos1. Any auto described on the Policy Declarations.

This includes the four wheel private passengerauto or utility auto you replace it with.

2. An additional four wheel private passengerauto or utility auto you acquire ownership ofduring the policy period will be covered for 30days immediately after you become the owner.

However, we will provide this coverage only ifwe or one of our affiliates insure all otherprivate passenger autos or utility autos youown, and you pay the additional premium.

Coverage will be continued beyond this 30 dayperiod only if:a) you ask us to continue coverage within 30

days after you acquire the auto or utilityauto;

b) we agree to continue coverage for thisadditional auto or utility auto; and

c) you pay the additional premium.

3. A substitute four wheel private passenger autoor utility auto, not owned by you or a resident,temporarily used while your insured auto isbeing serviced or repaired, or if your insuredauto is stolen or destroyed.

4. A non-owned auto having not less than fourwheels used with the owner’s permission. Thisauto must not be available or furnished for theregular use of an insured person.

5. A trailer while attached to an insured auto. Thetrailer must be designed for use with a privatepassenger auto or utility auto. This trailercan’t be used for business purposes with otherthan a private passenger auto or utility auto.

Definitions1. We, Us or Our means the company as shown

on the Policy Declarations.

2. Auto means a land motor vehicle designed foruse on public roads.

3. Resident means a person who physicallyresides in your household with the intention ofcontinuing residence there. Your unmarrieddependent children while temporarily awayfrom home will be considered residents if theyintend to resume residing in your household.

4. Utility Auto means an auto of the pick-upbody, sedan delivery or panel truck type. Thisauto must have a rated load capacity of notmore than 2,000 pounds.

5. You or Your means the policyholder named onthe Policy Declarations and that policyholder’sresident spouse.

Exclusions What Is Not CoveredThis coverage does not apply to bodily injury,sickness, disease or death to:1. you or a resident relative while in, on, getting

into or out of an auto you or a resident relativeown but do not insure for this coverage.

2. you or a resident relative while in, on, gettinginto or out of, or struck as a pedestrian by:

a) a vehicle operated on rails or crawler-treads, or

b) a vehicle or other equipment designed foruse off public roads, while not on publicroads.

3. any person while in, on, getting into or out of:a) an owned auto while available for hire to

the public. This exclusion does not applyto shared-expense car pools.

b) an auto or trailer while used as aresidence or premises.

4. any person, other than you or a residentrelative, while using a non-owned auto:a) which is available for hire by the public, orb) in auto business operations such as

repairing, servicing, testing, washing,parking, storing or selling of autos.

Coverage is provided for you, your privatechauffeur or domestic servant while using aprivate passenger auto or trailer in any otherbusiness or occupation.

5. any person resulting from any act of war,insurrection, rebellion, or revolution.

6. any person arising out of the participation inany prearranged, organized, or spontaneous:a) racing contest;b) speed contest; orc) use of an auto at a track or course

designed or used for racing or highperformance driving;

or in practice or preparation for any contest oruse of this type.

LIMITS OF LIABILITYTHE LIMIT SHOWN ON THE POLICYDECLARATIONS ISTHE MAXIMUM WE WILL PAY FOR ALL EXPENSESINCURRED BY OR FOR EACH PERSON AS THE RESULTOF ANY ONE AUTO ACCIDENT.

FOR ANYONE AUTO, EVEN THOUGH A SEPARATEPREMIUM IS CHARGED FOR EACH AUTO. THE LIMITALSO WILL NOT BE INCREASED IF YOU HAVE OTHERAUTO INSURANCE POLICIES THAT APPLY.

If an insured person dies as the result of a coveredauto accident, we will pay the least of the followingas a funeral service expenses benefit:1. $2,000; or

2. the Coverage CC limit of liability stated on thePolicy Declarations; or

3. the remaining portion of the Coverage CC limitof liability not expended for other coveredmedical expenses.

This funeral service expenses benefit does notincrease, and will not be paid in addition to, the limitsof liability stated on the Policy Declarations forCoverage CC. This benefit is payable to the deceasedinsured person’s spouse if a resident of the samehousehold at the time of the accident. However, if thedeceased is a minor, the benefit is payable to eitherparent if that parent is a resident of the samehousehold at the time of the accident. In all othercases, the benefit is payable to the deceased insuredperson’s estate.

THERE WILL BE NO DUPLICATION OF PAYMENTSMADE UNDER THE BODILY INJURY LIABILITY ANDAUTOMOBILE MEDICAL PAYMENTS COVERAGES OFTHIS POLICY. ALL PAYMENTS MADE TO OR ONBEHALF OF ANY PERSON UNDER THIS COVERAGEWILL BE CONSIDERED AS ADVANCE PAYMENTS TOTHAT PERSON. THE DAMAGES PAYABLE UNDER THEBODILY INJURYLIABILITY COVERAGE OF THIS POLICYWILL BE REDUCED BY THAT AMOUNT.

Unreasonable Or Unnecessary MedicalExpensesIf the insured person incurs medical expenses whichare unreasonable or unnecessary, we may refuse topay for those expenses and contest them.Unreasonable medical expenses are fees for medicalservices which are substantially higher than theusual and customary charges for those services.Unnecessary medical expenses are fees for medicalservices which are not usually and customarily

performed for treatment of the injury, including feesfor an excessive number, amount, or duration ofmedical services.

If the insured person is sued by a medical servicesprovider because we refuse to pay contested medicalexpenses, we will pay all defense costs and anyresulting judgment against the insured person. Wewill choose the counsel. The insured person mustcooperate with us in the defense of any claim orlawsuit. If we ask the insured person to attendhearings or trials, we will pay up to $50 per day forloss of wages or salary. We will also pay otherreasonable expenses incurred at our request.

IF THERE IS OTHER INSURANCEWHEN THIS COVERAGE APPLIES TO A SUBSTITUTEAUTO OR NON-OWNED AUTO, WE WILL PAY ONLYAFTER ALL OTHER COLLECTIBLE AUTO MEDICALINSURANCE HAS BEEN EXHAUSTED.

WHEN THIS COVERAGE APPLIES TO A REPLACEMENTAUTO OR ADDITIONAL AUTO, THIS POLICY WILL NOTAPPLY IF YOU HAVE OTHER COLLECTIBLE AUTOMEDICAL INSURANCE.

Part 5Uninsured Motorists InsuranceCoverage SSWe will pay damages which an insured person islegally entitled to recover from the owner or operatorof an uninsured auto because of bodily injurysustained by an insured person. Bodily injury mustbe caused by accident and arise out of theownership, maintenance or use of an uninsuredauto. We will not pay any punitive or exemplarydamages.

The right to benefits and the amount payable will bedecided by agreement between the insured personand us. If an agreement can’t be reached, thedecision may be made by arbitration.

Coverage SS applies regardless of the number ofvehicles you own, operate or insure under this policy.

If an insured person sues a person believedresponsible for the accident without giving us noticeso as to give us adequate time to intervene in alawsuit, we aren’t bound by any resulting judgment.

Insured Persons1. You and any relative who resides in your

household.

2. Any person while in, on, getting into, or out ofyour insured auto with your permission.

3. Any other person who is legally entitled torecover because of bodily injury to you, arelative who resides in your household, or anoccupant of your insured auto with yourpermission.

Insured Auto Means A Motor Vehicle:1. You own. This includes any auto you purchase

as a replacement for the owned motor vehicle.

However, any additional motor vehicle youacquire during the policy period will becovered for 30 days after you become theowner only if we or one of our affiliates insureall other motor vehicles you own and you paythe additional premium.

Coverage for the additional motor vehicle willbe continued beyond this 30 day period only if:a) you ask us to continue coverage within 30

days after you acquire the motor vehicle;b) we agree to continue coverage for this

additional motor vehicle; andc) you pay any additional premium.

2. you or a resident relative do not own but:a) you are using.b) is being temporarily used by anyone other

than you:(1) while your owned auto is being

serviced or repaired; or(2) because your owned auto was stolen

or destroyed.

This non-owned auto must be used only withthe owner’s permission. It also must not be

furnished or available for your or a residentrelative’s regular use.

A motor vehicle made available for public hireby any insured person is not and cannot be aninsured auto under this policy.

An Uninsured Auto Is:1. a motor vehicle which has no bodily injury

liability bond or insurance policy in effect atthe time of the accident.

2. a motor vehicle for which the insurer deniescoverage, or the insurer becomes insolvent.

3. a hit-and-run motor vehicle which causesbodily injury to an insured person by physicalcontact with the insured person or with avehicle occupied by that person. The identity ofthe operator and the owner of the vehicle mustbe unknown or cannot be found. The accidentmust be reported as soon as possible to theproper authorities. We must be notified within30 days. If the insured person was occupying avehicle at the time of the accident, we havethe right to inspect it.

4. an underinsured motor vehicle which hasliability protection in effect and applicable atthe time of the accident but less than theapplicable damages the insured person islegally entitled to recover. However, anunderinsured motor vehicle is not an insuredauto as defined under this coverage.

5. a motor vehicle for which no evidence offinancial responsibility is supplied to theDepartment of Motor Vehicles within 60 daysafter the accident occurs.

An Uninsured Auto Is Not:1. a motor vehicle that is lawfully self-insured.

However, a lawfully self-insured motor vehiclemay be an underinsured motor vehicle.

2. a motor vehicle owned by any federal, state orlocal government or agency.

However, a motor vehicle owned by anyfederal, state, or local government or agencymay be an underinsured motor vehicle.

3. a motor vehicle insured for bodily injuryliability under Part 1 of this policy.

5. You or Your means the insured person namedon the Policy Declarations and that person’sresident spouse.

Exclusions What Is Not CoveredWe will not pay any damages an insured person islegally entitled to recover because of:1. bodily injury to any person who makes a

settlement without our written consent.

2. bodily injury, if the payment would directly orindirectly benefit any workers compensation ordisability benefits insurer including aself-insurer.

LIMITS OF LIABILITYTHE UNINSURED MOTORISTS LIMIT STATED ON THEPOLICY DECLARATIONS IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNTPAYABLE FOR THIS COVERAGE BYTHIS POLICY FORANY ONE ACCIDENT. THIS MEANS THE INSURING OFMORE THAN ONE AUTO FOR OTHER COVERAGESAFFORDED BY THIS POLICY WILL NOT INCREASE OURLIMIT OF LIABILITY BEYOND THE AMOUNT SHOWNON THE POLICY DECLARATIONS.

REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF INSURED AUTOSUNDER THIS COVERAGE, THE SPECIFIC AMOUNTSHOWN ON THE POLICY DECLARATIONS IS THEMAXIMUM WE WILL PAY UNDER THIS POLICY FOR:1. " EACH PERSON" FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT

WE ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO MAKE ANYPAYMENTFOR BODILY INJURY UNDER THIS COVERAGE WHICHARISES OUT OF THE USE OF AN UNDERINSUREDMOTOR VEHICLE UNTIL AFTER THE LIMITS OFLIABILITY FOR ALL LIABILITY PROTECTION IN EFFECTAND APPLICABLE AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENTHAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED BY PAYMENT OF JUDGMENTOR SETTLEMENTS.

IF THERE IS OTHER INSURANCEIF THE INSURED PERSON WAS IN, ON, GETTING INTOOR OUT OF A VEHICLE WHICH IS INSURED FOR THISCOVERAGE UNDER ANOTHER POLICY, THISCOVERAGE WILL BE EXCESS. THIS MEANS THATWHEN THE INSURED PERSON IS LEGALLYENTITLEDTO RECOVER DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE OTHERPOLICY LIMIT, WE WILL PAY UP TO YOUR POLICYLIMIT, BUT ONLY AFTER THE OTHER INSURANCE HASBEEN EXHAUSTED.

IF MORE THAN ONE POLICY APPLIES TO THEACCIDENT ON A PRIMARY BASIS, THE TOTALBENEFITS PAYABLE TO ANY ONE PERSON WILL NOTEXCEED THE MAXIMUM BENEFITS PAYABLE BY THEPOLICY WITH THE HIGHEST LIMIT FOR UNINSUREDMOTORISTS COVERAGE. Proof Of Claim; Medical ReportsAs soon as possible, you or any other person makingclaim must give us written proof of claim, includingall details reasonably required by us to determine theamounts payable. We may also require any personmaking claim to submit to questioning under oathand sign the transcript.

The insured person may be required to take medicalexaminations by physicians selected by us, as oftenas we reasonably require. The insured person or thatperson’s representative must authorize us to obtainmedical reports and copies of records.

Assistance And CooperationWe may require the insured person to take properaction to preserve all rights to recover damages fromanyone responsible for the bodily injury.

Trust AgreementWhen we pay any person under this coverage:1. we are entitled to repayment of amounts paid

by us and related collection expenses out ofthe proceeds of any settlement or judgmentthat person recovers from any responsibleparty or insurer.

2. all rights of recovery against any responsibleparty or insurer must be maintained andpreserved for our benefit.

3. insured persons, if we ask, must take properaction in their name to recover damages fromany responsible party or insurer. We will selectthe attorney. We will pay all related costs andfees.

We will not ask the insured person to sue the insuredof an insolvent insurer.

Payment Of Loss By UsAny amount due is payable to the insured person, tothe parent or guardian of an injured minor, or to thespouse of any insured person who dies. However, wemay pay any person or estate lawfully entitled torecover the damages.

Action Against UsNo one may sue us under this coverage unless thereis full compliance with all the policy terms.

If We Cannot AgreeIf the insured person and we don’t agree on thatperson’s right to receive damages on any claiminvolving an amount of $15,000 or less, the disputewill be settled by arbitration.

If the insured person and we don’t agree on thatperson’s right to receive damages on any claiminvolving an amount over $15,000, then upon mutualconsent of the insured person and us thedisagreement will be settled by arbitration. The

insured person and we, however, must mutuallyagree to arbitrate the disagreements. If the insuredperson and we do not agree to arbitrate, then thedisagreement will be resolved in a court ofcompetent jurisdiction.

Unless the insured person or we object, arbitrationwill take place under the rules of the AmericanArbitration Association.

If either party objects to the use of the rules of theAmerican Arbitration Association, the followingalternative method of arbitration will be used. Theinsured person will select one arbitrator and we willselect another. The two arbitrators will select a third.If they can’t agree on a third arbitrator within 30days, the judge of the court of record in the county ofjurisdiction where arbitration is pending will appointthe third arbitrator. The written decision of any twoarbitrators will determine the issues. Local rulesgoverning evidence and procedure will apply. Theinsured person will pay the arbitrator that personselects and we will pay the one we select. Theexpense of the third arbitrator and all other expensesof arbitration will be shared equally. However,attorney fees and fees paid to medical or other expertwitnesses are not considered arbitration expensesand are to be paid by the party incurring them.

Regardless of the method of arbitration, either partyhas a right to a trial on all issues in a court ofcompetent jurisdiction. Costs, including attorneyfees, are to be paid by the party incurring them.

Part 6Protection Against Loss To The AutoThe following coverages apply when indicated on thePolicy Declarations. Additional payments, autosinsured, definitions, exclusions, and otherinformation applicable to all these coverages appearbeginning on page 18.

COVERAGE DDAuto Collision InsuranceWe will pay for direct and accidental loss to yourinsured auto or a non-owned auto (including insuredloss to an attached trailer) from a collision withanother object or by upset of that auto or trailer. Thedeductible amount will not be subtracted from the

loss payment in collisions involving your insuredauto and another auto insured by us.

COVERAGE DEDiminishing Deductible Auto CollisionInsuranceIf the loss is $100 or more, we will pay for direct andaccidental loss to your insured auto or a non-ownedauto (including insured loss to an attached trailer)from a collision with another object or by upset ofthat auto or trailer. No deductible applies to losses inexcess of $100.

If the loss is between $50 and $100, you pay thedifference between the amount of loss and $100. Wewill pay the rest of the loss up to our limits of liability.

If the loss is $50 or less, we will not make anypayment.

The deductible amount will not be subtracted fromthe loss payment in a collision involving your insuredauto and another auto insured by us, even if the lossis $50 or less.

COVERAGE HHAuto Comprehensive InsuranceWe will pay for direct and accidental loss to yourinsured auto or a non-owned auto not caused bycollision. Loss caused by missiles, falling objects,fire, theft or larceny, explosion, earthquake,windstorm, hail, water, flood, malicious mischief orvandalism, and riot or civil commotion is covered.Glass breakage, whether or not caused by collision,and collision with a bird or animal is covered.

The deductible amount will not be subtracted fromthe loss payment when the loss is caused by a perillisted under Coverage HE.

By agreement between you and us, the deductibleamount will not be subtracted from a glass breakageloss if the glass is repaired rather than replaced.

COVERAGE HEAuto Fire, Lightning and TransportationInsuranceWe will pay for direct and accidental loss to yourinsured auto or a non-owned auto due to:1. fire or lightning.

2. smoke or smudge due to a sudden, unusualand faulty operation of any fixed heatingequipment serving the premises in which theauto is located.

3. stranding, sinking, burning, collision orderailment of any conveyance in or uponwhich the auto is being transported on land oron water.

COVERAGE HFAuto Theft InsuranceWe will pay for direct and accidental loss to yourinsured auto or a non-owned auto caused by theft orlarceny.

COVERAGE HGAuto Fire, Lightning, Transportation andTheft InsuranceWe will pay for direct and accidental loss to yourinsured auto or a non-owned auto caused by anyperil listed under Coverages HE or HF above.

COVERAGE JJTowing and Labor CostsWe will pay costs for labor done at the initial place ofdisablement of your insured auto or a non-ownedauto. We will also pay for towing made necessary bythe disablement of your insured auto or anon-owned auto. The total limit of our liability foreach loss is stated on the Policy Declarations.

COVERAGE UURental Reimbursement CoverageIf you have collision or comprehensive coverageunder this policy and the loss involves eithercoverage, we will repay you for your cost of rentingan auto from a rental agency or garage. We will notpay more than the dollar amount per day shown on

the Policy Declarations. We will not pay mileagecharges.

If your insured auto is stolen, payment fortransportation expenses will be made under theterms of paragraph 3 of " Additional Payments WeWill Make" . However, the limits for this coverage willapply if they exceed the limits stated under" Additional Payments We Will Make" .

If an insured auto is disabled by a collision orcomprehensive loss, coverage starts the day of theloss. If the entire insured auto is stolen, coveragebegins the day you report the theft to us. If aninsured auto is driveable, coverage starts the day theauto is taken to the garage for repairs.

Coverage ends when the first of the following occurs:1. if the auto is disabled by a collision or

comprehensive loss, completion of repairs orreplacement of the auto;

2. if the auto is stolen, when we offer settlementor your auto is returned to use; or

3. thirty full days of coverage.

COVERAGE ZASound System CoverageWe will pay for loss to a sound system permanentlyinstalled in your auto by bolts, brackets or othermeans, its antennas or other apparatus in or on yourauto used specifically with that system.

Coverage ZA applies only if comprehensive insuranceis in effect under this policy. This coverage makessound systems, and antennas or other apparatusused specifically with them, insured property underthe terms of both collision and comprehensiveinsurance. The limit of our liability is shown on thePolicy Declarations.

COVERAGE ZZTape CoverageWe will pay for loss to any tapes or similar itemsused with any auto sound system. Coverage appliesto property you or a resident relative own that is in oron your insured auto at the time of loss. The total

limit of our liability for each loss is shown on thePolicy Declarations.

This coverage applies only if you havecomprehensive insurance under this policy. CoverageZZ makes tapes or similar items insured propertyunder your comprehensive insurance.

Additional Payments We Will Make1. We will pay up to $200 for loss of clothing and

personal luggage, including its contents,belonging to you or a resident relative while itis in or upon your insured auto. This provisiondoes not apply if the insured auto is a travel-trailer.

This coverage applies only when:a) the loss is caused by collision and you

have purchased collision insurance.b) the entire auto is stolen, and you have

purchased comprehensive insurance.c) physical damage is done to the auto and

to the clothing and luggage caused byearthquake, explosion, falling objects, fire,lightning, or flood and you havepurchased comprehensive insurance.

2. We will repay you up to $10 for the cost oftransportation from the place of theft of yourinsured auto or disablement of the auto toyour destination, ifa) the entire auto is stolen and you have

comprehensive coverage under thispolicy.

b) the auto is disabled by a collision orcomprehensive loss, and you have thecoverage under this policy applicable tothe loss.

This provision does not apply if the insuredauto is a travel-trailer.

3. If you have comprehensive insurance underthis policy, we will repay up to $10 a day butnot more than $300 for each loss for the costof transportation when the entire auto isstolen. This coverage begins 48 hours afteryou report the theft to us, but ends when we

offer settlement or your auto is returned touse.

4. If you have purchased collision orcomprehensive insurance under this policy, wewill pay general average and salvage chargesimposed when your insured auto is beingtransported.

Insured Autos1. Any auto described on the Policy Declarations.

This includes the four wheel private passengerauto or utility auto you replace it with if younotify us within 60 days of the replacementand pay any additional premium.

2. An additional four wheel private passengerauto or utility auto you acquire ownership ofduring the policy period will be covered for 30days immediately after you become the owner.

However, we will provide this coverage only ifwe or one of our affiliates insure all otherprivate passenger autos or utility autos youown, and you pay the additional premium.

Coverage will be continued beyond this 30 dayperiod only if:a) you ask us to continue coverage within 30

days after you acquire the auto or utilityauto;

b) we agree to continue coverage for thisadditional auto or utility auto; and

c) you pay the additional premium.

3. A substitute four wheel private passenger autoor utility auto, not owned by you or a resident,temporarily used with the permission of theowner while your insured auto is beingserviced or repaired, or if your insured auto isstolen or destroyed.

4. A non-owned four wheel private passengerauto or utility auto used by you or a residentrelative with the owner’s permission. This automust not be available or furnished for theregular use of you or any resident.

5. A trailer while attached to an insured auto.This trailer must be designed for use with aprivate passenger auto. This trailer can’t beused for business purposes with other than aprivate passenger auto or utility auto. Home,office, store, display, passenger trailers,travel-trailers or camper units are notcovered unless described on the PolicyDeclarations.

Definitions1. We, Us or Our means the company shown on

the Policy Declarations.

2. Auto means a land motor vehicle designed foruse on public roads.

3. Camper Unit means a demountable unitdesigned to be used as temporary livingquarters, including all equipment andaccessories built into and forming a permanentpart of the unit. A camper unit does notinclude:a) caps, tops or canopies designed for use

as protection of the cargo area of a utilityauto; or

b) radio or television antennas, awnings,cabanas, or equipment designed to createadditional off-highway living facilities.

4. Motor Home means a self-propelled vehicleequipped, designed or used as a livingquarters.

5. Resident means a person who physicallyresides in your household with the intention ofcontinuing living there. Your unmarrieddependent children while temporarily awayfrom home will be considered residents if theyintend to resume residing in your household.

6. Sound System means any device within theinsured auto designed for:a) voice or video transmission, or for voice,

video or radar signal reception; orb) recording or playing back recorded

material; orc) supplying power to cellular or similar

telephone equipment,

and which is installed in a location other thanthe one designed by the auto’s manufacturer forthat device.

7. Travel-trailer means a trailer of the house,cabin or camping type equipped or used as aliving quarters.

8. Utility Auto means an auto of the pick-upbody, sedan delivery or panel truck type. Thisauto must have a rated load capacity of notmore than 2,000 pounds.

9. You or Your means the policyholder named onthe Policy Declarations and that policyholder’sresident spouse.

Exclusions What Is Not CoveredThese coverages don’t apply to:1. loss caused intentionally by, or at the direction

of, an insured person.

2. any auto used for the transportation of peopleor property for a fee. This exclusion does notapply to shared-expense car pools.

3. any damage or loss resulting from any act ofwar, insurrection, rebellion or revolution.

4. loss to any non-owned auto used in autobusiness operations such as repairing,servicing, testing, washing, parking, storing orselling of autos.

5. loss due to radioactive contamination.

6. damage resulting from wear and tear, freezing,mechanical or electrical breakdown unless thedamage is the burning of wiring used toconnect electrical components, or the result ofother loss covered by this policy.

7. tires unless stolen or damaged by fire,malicious mischief or vandalism. Coverage isprovided if the damage to tires occurs at thesame time and from the same cause as otherloss covered by this policy.

8. loss to any sound system within your auto.

Coverages under this Part also will not apply toany apparatus in or on the auto designed foruse with that system.

This exclusion will not apply if you havepurchased Coverage ZA.

9. loss to any tapes or similar items, unless youhave Coverage ZZ under this policy.

10. loss to a camper unit whether or not mounted.This exclusion will not apply if the camper unitis described on the Policy Declarations.

11. loss to appliances, furniture, equipment andaccessories that are not built into or forming apermanent part of a motor home or travel-trailer.

12. loss to your motor home or travel-trailerwhile rented to anyone else unless a specificpremium is shown on the Policy Declarationsfor the rented vehicle.

13. loss or damage arising out of the participationin any prearranged, organized, orspontaneous:a) racing contest;b) speed contest; orc) use of an auto at a track or course

designed or used for racing or highperformance driving;

or in practice or preparation for any contest oruse of this type.

Right To AppraisalBoth you and we have a right to demand an appraisalof the loss. Each will appoint and pay a qualifiedappraiser. Other appraisal expenses will be sharedequally. The two appraisers, or a judge of a court ofrecord, will choose an umpire. Each appraiser willstate the actual cash value and the amount of loss. Ifthey disagree, they’ll submit their differences to theumpire. A written decision by any two of these threepersons will determine the amount of the loss.

Payment Of Loss By UsWe may pay for the loss in money, or may repair orreplace the damaged or stolen property. We may, at

any time before the loss is paid or the property isreplaced, return at our own expense any stolenproperty, either to you or at our option to the addressshown on the Policy Declarations, with payment forany resulting damage. We may take all or part of theproperty at the agreed or appraised value. We maysettle any claim or loss either with you or the ownerof the property.

LIMITS OF LIABILITYOUR LIMIT OF LIABILITY IS THE LEAST OF:1. THE ACTUAL CASH VALUE OF THE PROPERTY

OR PART OF ITS PHYSICAL CONDITION AT THETIME OF LOSS, WHICH MAY INCLUDE ADEDUCTION FOR DEPRECIATION; OR

2. THE COST TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THEPROPERTY OR PART OF ITS PHYSICALCONDITION AT THE TIME OF LOSS USINGPARTS PRODUCED BY OR FOR THE VEHICLE’SMANUFACTURER, OR PARTS FROM OTHERSOURCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,NON ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURERS,SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE STATE LAWS ANDREGULATIONS; OR

3. $500, IF THE LOSS IS TO A COVERED TRAILERNOT DESCRIBED ON THE POLICYDECLARATIONS.

ANY APPLICABLE DEDUCTIBLE AMOUNT IS THENSUBTRACTED.

IF WE, AT OUR OPTION, ELECT TO PAY FOR THE COSTTO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PROPERTYOR PART,OUR LIABILITY DOES NOT INCLUDE ANYDECREASE INTHE PROPERTY’S VALUE, HOWEVER MEASURED,RESULTING FROM THE LOSS AND/OR REPAIR ORREPLACEMENT. IF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENTRESULTS IN THE BETTERMENT OF THE PROPERTY ORPART, YOU MAYBE RESPONSIBLE, SUBJECT TOAPPLICABLE STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS, FORTHE AMOUNT OF THE BETTERMENT.

AN AUTO AND ATTACHED TRAILER ARE CONSIDEREDSEPARATE AUTOS, AND YOU MUST PAY THEDEDUCTIBLE, IF ANY, ON EACH. ONLY ONEDEDUCTIBLE WILL APPLYTO AN AUTO WITH AMOUNTED CAMPER UNIT. IF UNMOUNTED, A

SEPARATE DEDUCTIBLE WILL APPLY TO THE AUTOAND CAMPER UNIT.

IF THERE IS OTHER INSURANCEIF THERE IS OTHER INSURANCE COVERING THE LOSSAT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT, WE WILL PAY ONLYOUR SHARE OF ANYDAMAGES. OUR SHARE ISDETERMINED BYADDING THE LIMITS OF THISINSURANCE TO THE LIMITS OF ALL OTHERINSURANCE THAT APPLIES ON THE SAME BASIS ANDFINDING THE PERCENTAGE OF THE TOTAL THAT OURLIMITS REPRESENT.

WHEN THIS INSURANCE COVERS A SUBSTITUTEAUTO OR NON-OWNED AUTO, WE WILL PAYONLYAFTER ALL OTHER COLLECTIBLE INSURANCE HASBEEN EXHAUSTED.

WHEN THIS INSURANCE COVERS A REPLACEMENTAUTO OR ADDITIONAL AUTO, THIS POLICY WON’TAPPLY IF YOU HAVE OTHER COLLECTIBLEINSURANCE.

WHEN MORE THAN ONE COVERAGE IS APPLICABLETO THE LOSS, YOU MAY RECOVER UNDER THEBROADEST COVERAGE BUT NOT BOTH. HOWEVER,ANY COVERAGE ZA DEDUCTIBLE WILL ALWAYSAPPLY.

Action Against UsNo one may sue us under this coverage unless thereis full compliance with all the policy terms.

Subrogation RightsWhen we pay, your rights of recovery from anyoneelse become ours up to the amount we have paid.You must protect these rights and help us enforcethem.

Loss Payable ClauseIf a Lienholder and/or Lessor is shown on the PolicyDeclarations, we may pay loss or damage under thispolicy to you and the Lienholder and/or Lessor as itsinterest may appear, except:

1. Where fraud, material misrepresentation,material omission, or intentional damage hasbeen committed by or at the direction of you.

2. When the vehicle(s) is intentionally damaged,destroyed or concealed by or at the directionof you or any owner.

3. When you or any owner makes fraudulentstatement(s) or engages in fraudulent conductin connection with any accident or loss forwhich coverage is sought.

The Lienholder and/or Lessor must notify us of anychange in ownership or hazard that is known.

If you or any owner fails to render proof of loss withinthe time granted in the policy, the Lienholder and/orLessor must do so within sixty days in the form andmanner described in the policy. The Lienholderand/or Lessor are subject to the provisions of thepolicy relating to appraisal, time of payment andbringing suit.

We may cancel this policy according to its terms. Wewill notify the Lienholder and/or Lessor at least tendays prior to the date of cancellation that thecancellation is effective as to the interest of theLienholder and/or Lessor.

Whenever we pay the Lienholder and/or Lessor anysum for loss or damage under this policy, we will be

subrogated to the extent of payment to the rights ofthe party to whom payment was made. However,these subrogation provisions must in no way impairthe rights of the Lienholder and/or Lessor to recoverthe full amount of its claim from the insured.

The Lienholder and/or Lessor has no greater rightsunder the provisions of the policy than the insured.

What You Must Do If There Is A Loss1. As soon as possible, any person making claim

must give us written proof of loss. It mustinclude all details reasonably required by us.We have the right to inspect the damagedproperty. We may require any person makingclaim to file with us a sworn proof of loss. Wemay also require that person to submit toexaminations under oath.

2. Protect the auto from further loss. We will payreasonable expenses to guard against furtherloss. If you don’t protect the auto, further lossis not covered.

3. Report all theft losses promptly to the police.
