Allstate Sugar Bowl

WorldStrides Heritage Performance has been a proud partner of the Allstate Sugar Bowl since 1988. The Allstate Sugar Bowl is a BCS Bowl

that features the SEC Champion vs. a BCS at-large team at the Louisiana Superdome. Traditionally, it has been one of the most

watched bowl games. It averages more than 70,000 fans in attendance.

A bus? Why not a plane? •  We are saving $500 - $1000 per student by traveling by

bus.

•  These are professional drivers that routinely take trips of this length.

•  Last year a group from California traveled by bus to perform at the this same event.

•  Phillipsburg High School took this identical trip two years ago and band families are still talking about what a wonderful experience they had!

New Orleans….is that safe? •  Yes, extremely!

•  All student events are monitored by the Wordstrides Heritage Performance Company or the East Coast Touring Company, both of which are extremely experienced in student travel tours. We plan to have several staff, administrative, and parent chaperones on the trip as well.

•  By now you know that we run a tight ship when traveling with the band. Your students’ safety is our number one priority.

•  15 bands totaling1500 HS students performed in this year’s Sugar Bowl Halftime Finale in New Orleans!

What next? •  Take a brochure and commitment form and think things over.

•  Return the signed form to Mr. Vitale by Friday 1/18.

•  It is important to the directors that we have commitment from a large majority of the band in order to take this trip, which is why we are beginning the planning process as early as possible.

•  Our decision to pursue this trip further will be based on your responses via the commitment form.
