Baba Saheb Ambedkar Technical Educational Society (a

Society with National Presence) was established in 1995 by group of

professionals dedicated for the upliftment of disadvantage groups of the

Society. It recognizes not only the reserved groups Scheduled in the Constitution of India but

also includes women, candidates below Poverty Line who are unable to pursue formal education in urge to earning

their livelihood, Wards of Deceased Army and Police personnel, Wards of Widows and specially the School Dropouts.

The institution has always emphasized on Professional, Technical and Para Medical Education so that we

can built a work force equipped with technical knowledge and craftsmen skills in a very short span of their lives.

Apart from the Vocational courses, the Institution has also introduced Professional and Courses on Applied Sciences

as per the demand of the growing Market. All the Formal and Informal Courses are recognized by Government of

India.

The Institution has also join hands with India can (a Pearson Educomp Co.), a famous International name in

English Language studies and Personality Development, so that the students may get an added advantage in the job

market. The Institution has setup all State-of-the-Art Laboratories and very experienced faculty members so that the

students can achieve the best scores in terms of success in their professional life.

The programs are very carefully chosen which are innovative and relevant to the society and are being

offered with moderate fee yet modern facilities. All the programs are aimed both the aspiring students as well as the

working professionals. Flexible mode of teaching represents a major element in our programs.

The Institution has also introduced “Industry Sponsored Courses” wherein the students will be trained as

per the requirement of the specific Industry and will be practically trained in the concerned Industry itself. After

passing out from the course, they will be appointed in the concerned Industry.

The Institution strive to produce highly employable professionals of highest possible quality in areas of

strategic importance, that would not only benefit the students but would also fuel India’s growth towards a

developed economy.

Mechanical EngineeringMechanical Engineering

Mechanical engineering is a discipline of

engineering that applies the principles of physics and

materials science for analysis, design, manufacturing,

and maintenance of mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the production and

usage of heat and mechanical power for the design, production, and operation of machines and tools. It is

one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines.

The engineering field requires a vast understanding of core concepts including mechanics,

kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis. Mechanical engineers use these

core principles along with tools like computer-aided engineering and product lifecycle management to

design and analyze manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling

systems, transport systems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, medical devices and more.

Mechanical engineering emerged as a field during the industrial revolution in Europe in the 18th

century; however, its development can be traced back several thousand years around the world.

Mechanical engineering science emerged in the 19th century as a result of developments in the field of

physics. The field has continually evolved to incorporate advancements in technology, and mechanical

engineers today are pursuing developments in such fields as composites, mechatronics, and

nanotechnology. Mechanical engineering overlaps with aerospace engineering, civil engineering,

electrical engineering, and petroleum engineering to varying amounts

Civil & Architectural EngineeringCivil & Architectural Engineering

Civil & ArchitecturalEngineering

14 • www.bsaitm.in

Civil engineering is one of the oldest of the

engineering professions. Ancient feats such

as the building of the Egyptian pyramids and

Roman road systems are based on civil engineering principles.

Civil engineers can be found in all areas of society from small private contractors to

municipal agencies, federal government organizations, and the military. One of the

largest civil engineering organizations in the United States is the Army Corps of

Engineers, which despite its name is a primarily civilian organization focused on the

development of canals, locks, and dams; flood control, and other public works

projects.

Because civil engineering focuses on the study of structural systems, the core courses

in a civil engineering curriculum reflect this. Most civil engineers start their learning

with basic physics and calculus courses. Later courses can include geology, soil

mechanics, and design of steel structures. A civil engineering curriculum is usually

rounded out with advanced classes that match the student's desired specialty, which

may hydrology, development of concrete structures, and highway design, among

other specialties.

Information Technology

The world has felt a the explosive impact of

computers and the IT industry in its very core and the

increasing need for computers in the daily life of people has

made it imperative that new designs and new computer software systems be developed so that advancing

technology can be applied in a growing range of applications. The work assigned to people who are called

computer software engineers evolves very fast, which reflects the changes in technology as well as the

increase of new specializations which keep cropping up in this field along with the preferences and

practices of employers. The principles and knowledge of computer science, engineering, and

mathematical analysis are employed by computer software engineers for designing, developing, testing,

and evaluating the software and the systems that computers use to carry out various applications.

Software engineers who work in applications or systems development are engaged in analyzing user needs

and designing, constructing, testing, and maintaining computer applications software or systems. Various

kinds of software like software for operating systems and network distribution, and compilers, which

convert programs for execution on a computer, are developed by a software engineer. In the programming

or coding fields, software engineers give instructions to a computer, line by line; on how on perform a

function or operation. These engineers are also geared to tackle technical problems and hitches. Although

these engineers need to possess string programming skills, they are more occupied with the development

of algorithms and in analyzing and solving problems in programming than with writing codes.
