In building our luxury brand ALGODON®, one

of prestige, distinction and elegance, we are

primarily focused on the quality and reputation

of our iconic wines. Algodon Wines ultimately

serve as our ambassador, as we then develop

and acquire vineyard operations, luxury life-

style properties, as well as other opportunistic

investments. We seek to build a unique collec-

tion of high-end assets that range from acces-

sible luxury to high-end offerings, and we have

a passion for seeking outstanding opportunities

in spectacular settings.

As we continue to produce the ultra-fine wines

for which we have become recognized, we ex-

pect that our reputation for quality will only

continue to grow and accordingly increase the

value of our company’s brand and real estate

holdings. Algodon’s non-leveraged, luxury as-

sets serve as our mainstay and are currently

concentrated in Argentina, which we believe at

this time represents one of the most underval-

ued investment sectors in the world today.

ALGODON MANSION | Buenos Aires

In this time of global financial uncertainty, many

investors are seeking to diversify their portfo-

lios with investments outside the United States.

Algodon Group believes that diversifying out-

side the U.S. economy and the U.S. dollar is very

prudent, and it has been our mission to seek ex-

citing investments for some time. While there

is risk in everything we do, we believe we are in

the right place at the right time. With the po-

tential success of the investment opportunities

we have created, so comes the potential for sig-

nificant gain.

Algodon Group has been investing in Argenti-

na since 2006 in the wine, real estate develop-

ment, and hospitality sectors. We believe there

are boom times ahead for Argentine assets,

and that Argentina represents one of the best-

calculated bets that one can make in global in-

vestment today. There is virtually no leverage

in real estate, and in recent history, very little

foreign investment. As a result, asset prices are

some of the cheapest in the world. Those asset

values can increase dramatically, but you’ve got

to invest before the crowd. Latecomers often-

times rush in after the politics and the econom-

ics have turned, but no wealth has ever been

created by getting in late.

Inspired by the distinctive style and glamour of

the Cotton Club days, an era when travel and

leisure were synonymous with culture and so-

phistication, Algodon represents the modern

day equivalent in an active, global lifestyle. Tak-

en from the Spanish word for cotton, Algodon

signifies a clean and pure appreciation for the

good life, a sense of refined culture, and is ul-

timately a destination where the best elements

of the past and the present meet.

PIMA quite simply represents the best. It is an

assemblage of barrel fermented wines hand-

crafted from some of our oldest vineyards,

planted in 1946. A careful selection of Malbec,

Bonarda, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mer-

lot bring all the best elements of our vineyard

together in this truly iconic and powerful wine.

Production was limited to less than 3,000 bottles.

2010 PIMA

PIMA is a blend of Malbec, Bonarda, Caber-

net Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot. Deep red

color, with a delicate, soft and subtle fruit on

the nose and palate. There is a highly com-

plex combination of aromatic fruits like black-

berries and raspberries, with spices and floral

notes. On the palate, the tannins are firm and

there is a balanced acidity. This is a wine of

great power, character and style, which will

evolve effortlessly.

Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months

Bottled in November 2011

This wine may be cellared up to 10 years

2012 MALBEC-BONARDA

Soft sweet fruit on palate with bitter under-

tones. This harvest was a compromise be-

tween the two Argentine iconic varietals that

normally mature two or three weeks apart.

The Malbec was left late, the Bonarda picked

early. It is a Field Blend. This wine has great

charm and elegance. Aged in French oak

barrels for 18 months. Harvested from a sin-

gle vineyard; alternating rows of Malbec with

rows of 1946 Bonarda.

MALBEC

Algodon’s Malbec offers excellent structure that proves ideal

for aging in French oak. This wine represents craftsmanship

and a true artisanal process from the vineyard to the winery.

BONARDA

Like the Malbec, Bonarda also has its roots in France, and

was “perfected” by Argentine winemakers in Mendoza’s ideal

growing conditions. In San Rafael’s Cuadro Benegas district,

where Algodon Wine Estates is located, Bonarda has particu-

larly flourished due to ideal soil structure, climate and alti-

tude. Traditionally known as a blending varietal, its popularity

is growing as single varietal, high-quality wine.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

This deep-red wine has a strong structure, fruity with black-

currants and blackberries, balanced with tannins for a dry finish.

Cabernet-Sauvignon is one of the world’s most widely planted

varietals, yet the terroir of San Rafael breathes new life into

one of the world’s favorites.

PINOT NOIR

Winemaker Mauro Nosenzo has produced an elegant wine of

refinement and indeed complexity: this is Pinot Noir at its

best. This is a wine with medium intensity and tannic concen-

tration, but excellent aromas. Very fruity and floral, enhanced

with tannins and vanilla given by the French oak.

MALBEC-BONARDA ROSÉ

Algodon has selected the two most important grapes of Ar-

gentina, Malbec and Bonarda, to handcraft a wine that carries

the structure, complexity, aroma and flavors that lead to a

genuine sensorial experience. This wine is produced with 60%

Malbec and 40% Bonarda harvested in March. Its maceration

process lasts only six hours, obtaining a salmon-colored wine,

with flowery aromas and flavors of red berries, very delicate.

CHARDONNAY

This wine’s aging in French oak barrels results in a beautiful flavor

of tropical fruits like kiwi and melon, balanced with minerals and

the earthy aroma of wood. Algodon Chardonnay is the ultimate

expression of San Rafael’s terroir, as it represents the truest po-

tential of the great white wines.
