magazine or newspaper product. Your product could be in any style or genre but it must be self financed through sales or advertising. You must also produce your

• Have a USP which makes my magazine commercially viable

• That my magazine will be able to finance itself after its initial release

• Aimed at the age group specified

FOCUS GROUP FEEDBACK

• Article – the way it was written was more appealing as oppose to article two

• The layout of the article however the imagery was not placed in suitably

• ‘easy to read’ with the separation of sections

• Has a creative appeal compared to other photography magazines

• Imagery layout is a bit random the placing and size of the imagery isn't too good

• Compared to the second one

• Will likely appeal more to a younger audience

Page 18: alexander tindall presentation.

MOCK UP 2

Page 19: alexander tindall presentation.

FOCUS GROUP FEEDBACK• Looks more professional

• The size proportions look more appropriate in comparison to dps 2

• The overall style of the article and the way its written is more journalistic in the way it is written

• The image layout is much better in comparison to article 2

• The final tip section is a good and blatant addition which ties it together

• The picture of the mouse isn't seen as an appropriate image

• Although it looks more professional it would not appeal to my group as it lacks creativity

Page 20: alexander tindall presentation.

CONCLUSION• Although the one looks more professional this should not be the approach to the

magazine I should take

• A fully journalistic article is less appealing to my audience

• Larger images as well as better placement
