Success
By Bessie Anderson Stanley
He has achieved success
who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much;
who has enjoyed the trust of
pure women,
the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children;
who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;
who has left the world better than he found it

whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem or a rescued soul;
who has never lacked appreciation of Earth's beauty
or failed to express it;
who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had;
whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction.

O CANADA
O Canada! Our home and native land! True Patriot love in all thy sons command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Peter Crosman Memorial Award for Participation
Presented to a deserving student in memory of Alexander Galt alumnus, Peter Crosman (1972 – 1990)
who exemplified on a daily basis what will forever remain the most significant attribute of any Drama student.
. . the spirit of participation. In the face of health and learning challenges, Peter’s contribution in class and on
stage remains unequalled to this day. His positive outlook and sense of humor were simply contagious. In its
purity, Peter’s desire to become “involved” in his school was charming to teachers and fellow students alike.
On his last day as a Galt student, in what easily could have been a scene from a movie, Peter was carried from
this very auditorium on the shoulders of his peers. May Peter’s spirit, and that of participation, forever be a
part of his alma mater.
