    Number of actual years of

    sea service (sea time) the

    officer has been on this

    type of tanker. Note: If

the vessel is an oil tanker,

then it is actual years of

    sea service on oil tankers

    irrespective of its size.

    The same is true for

    Chemical and Gas

    tankers.

    Number of years of Sea

    Service (sea time) that the

    officer has served on All

    Types of tankers as a

    certificated officer, if time

    has been served on

    combination carriers only

    sea service whilst

    operating in the wet

    mode should be counted.

Irrespective of rank, this is the combined

total of actual months on sea service

    served as an OOW.
