Operations and Management Service Agreement

• AMG (Airport Management Group) - OMSA with Zurich Airport International AG for 7 years. Begin in Q2 2014

• Work Order Topics: Safety & Security, Daily Operations, Commercial (non aviation business), Management Accounting, ICT Support, Infrastructure Management & Maintenance, Airport Marketing

• Deal was concluded within about 2 years

• No investment by FZAG in AMG (KTZ 100% owner)

• FZAG holds one seat in the Supervisory Board of AMG

• Prime Target: Transfer of airport operations and management know-how

• Out of this project: Joint Venture projects in evaluation (not within the OMSA):

• Gategroup: Catering project Astana Airport. Target take over 1.1.2015

• Swissport: Outsourcing of Ground Handling at Astana Airport

Important for a successful project (2)

• Trust Management Agreement is one of the keys for success of this project

• Build-up on common understanding and mutual cooperation

• Jointly define improvements

• Tailor made solutions respecting the local environment

• Understanding the local acting and approach

• Not imposing solutions: “you have to do it that way”

• Don’t invent the wheel

• Get acquainted with bureaucracy – be patient and flexible

• Build up relations on all levels

• Find specialists like civil engineers as well as senior management staff on the local

market

• Still, we respect and have to cope with the international rules and regulations

(e.g. ICAO)
