“PRELIMINARY TESTS”

Preliminary test is the 1st test or examination of military services. The

preliminary test consists of 2 sub sectors.

1) Preliminary Medical.

2) Preliminary Viva.

Preliminary Medical Test:

At 1st a candidate will appear the Preliminary Medical Board headed

by an Officer and some assistants (Staffs). This board will check out

candidates minimum physical requirements and any physical hampers

if s/he is having or not.

In this Medical Test, in maximum cases these things are checked :

1) Height, Weight, Chest.

2) Eye test & Colour Blindness Test.

3) ENT Tests.

4) Knock Knee, Flat Feet checkup.

5) Piles, Hernia.

6) 10 Pushups & 10 Sit-ups (in some cases).

7) Blood pressure & Pulse.

Those who have ‘’major’’ problem in given aspects s/he might be

disqualified after the test.

Normally, a few candidates are disqualified.

Those who were Glasses bring your Power Card of the Glass

checked by a medical officer. (The card must have validity within

5 months of your medical date. Maximum allowed power is -2.5)

Preliminary Viva:

From my point of view, maximum candidates get disqualified in

this test among the two tests(medical/viva).

If you are disqualified in this Viva be sure that either luck doesn’t

favour or you are a stupid human being. The selectors just seek

those candidates who are good in manners, behaviors & keen to

this life. It doesn’t matter you can give answers or not. But TRY.

In preli-Viva there can be 3 to 5 Officers who will judge you.
