During last two months we had
many, many things happening
in our LCs and also on national
level—we might say that the pe-
riod was hectic for all of us!

WLDC, after that we had four
brave candidates for MCP and
we got a new leader of AIESEC
Croatia in the next
term, we signed
some new partner-
ships—all in all, it was
a good period for all
of us!

interns.

Cooperation with Children dorm Klasje – they will give us free flat for interns.
We organized WLDC in Orahovica.
OCP for PBOX Children friends of environment is selected. OCP is Matej Marušić and his OC
team is: Ana Martič, Barbara Korovljević, Ivo Matić, Magdalena Kobaš, Marko Bokić i Tea
Batnožić.
We organized the Christmas charity/party with Erasmus and IAESTE.

Project team is working hard—together with F team we applied 3 projects for grants
PR&Marketing team has 2 new media partners!
OGX campaign going great—in January first info-meetings, in-terviews are ongoing
TM introduced buddy system (hanging out with given LC member) and secret friend (make somebody happy for one month)
Our interns were part of our LTS as facilitators Veronica finished her internship in Labin. Project World in your hands also finished and all of our interns
went home. OGX raised 7 EPs (5GIP & 2 GCDP), and also 2 OPS were
held. PR&M is working hard for our web page and Christmas
cards for our partners as well as the promotion of EP i TMP rec-ruitment.
ER raised a bus for Y2B in Varaždin and is also arranging Y2B for sLDC to be on EFRI.
After autumn recruitment we have 16 new members TM is working on TB, R&R and JDs we applied WiYH and sLDC on grant and also are working on 2 more aplications

AIESEC Croatia wouldn’t work as good as it does this term if it wasn’t
for three amazing individuals who are working from the shadow, helping
your MC and LCs do their job! Andrea and Simon have been our support
and a right hand from the beginning of the term, and recently their lit-
tle team got one new person—Gabrijela who has become NST Projects!
So, lets see what have they been doing last couple of weeks :)

ANDREA—NST Grants, SU National Coordinator
contacted the National Foundation for Civil Society Development
(verify that we can not apply on their grants because of ours
special financing terms)
Informed LCP Rijeka about new grants and gave him feedback on
the grant of Grad Rijeka
sent letters to six embassies
contacted the Erste Bank for applying conditions of a grant for
marginal groups (for project WiYH); grant sent online
had a meeting with LC VP Fs; went through grant policies and da-
tabase
revised grant database
prepared report for the MC for re-planning & been on re-
planning in Zagreb
had meeting with IG Zagreb - project team, gave them feed-
back on grants of Grad Zagreb
selected for faci on WLDC; meetings with other facies, created
agenda and sessions for newbie track
Started my role as SU National Coordinator – preparations for SU realizations

What motivated me to apply for MCP
is my MC team and the things that we
are living right now, the change that
we are bringing and this is what moti-
vates me to stay and continue the
blossom of AIESEC in Croatia together
in the next term! I wanna do every day
something that makes me proud - and
AIESEC makes me proud!
Candidate No. 2: Leo Laštro, IGP of AIESEC Zagreb
I want to talk about our programs because everything
is about programs. New members can give us a fresh
perspective how to shape AIESEC in society and lea-
ders program should focus less on operational things
and more on leading. In incoming exchange program
we should search for external relevance and that is
our recipe for success. In outgoing exchange we sho-
uld offer concrete products. Outgoing GIP should be
our focus !
Candidate No. 3: Aaquib Manadath, MCVP OGX in Lithuania
'm very excited to be here with you and the last 20 days have been
an amazing experience for me! What I believe is that Croatia should
be socially responsible and externally relevant AIESEC country. We
should work for our numbers! My focus is exchange and growth the-
re. It is very scary to deliver this speech, but what doesn't kill us, ma-
kes us stronger!
Candidate No. 4 : Duje Papić. LCP of AIESEC Split
In the last couple of weeks we have learned a lot of new
things that will help us to grow and we need to accept the
change and provide our markets with more relevant pro-
ducts! TMP and TLP are main drivers for all other programs
- we all believe in this organization and we are the ones
who are influencing the growth of our organization! We are
the talent that will bring the change to the world we live in!

Zdravo, AIESEC Hrvatska!
It has been a while since we ‘’saw’’ each other and I bet you mis-
sed me! :P
WLDC has been for me confirmation for the decision I made one
year ago to apply for MCP here, in Croatia!
I will be honest with you; this has been the only Croatian conference that I enjoyed
with all my heart since I came for MC.
Not because it was perfect, in the contrary there were many things that could be im-
proved but because it was first time I saw AIESEC Croatia UNITED not only in words
but in ACTIONS!
This is why I applied, this is WHY I chose to spend here 2 years of my life! To see this
AIESEC spirit in the whole country!
We usually see impact of AIESEC in our interns’ eyes, in the schools, organizations,
companies that we co-operate with, but for a healthy organization, we need to see the
impact of AIESEC in US!
We constantly have something to deal with, a problem to solve or a meeting to attend
and usually a full inbox!
And here is the trick! It is how we behave in these situations where our nerves are te-
sted, where our ego is hurt and where we feel tired.
If we are using these moments to LEARN how to become better colleagues, how to
improve ourselves and our behavior into a more respectful and mature one, in other
words, if we are trying to become better people every day then this is the real spirit of
AIESEC!
You fall down, you screw up, you JUMP in a leadership position and you see people
supporting you, you see an environment that encourages learning and is not accusing
us when we are not perfect.
This I believe can bring AIESEC Croatia to the next level, to make us a country role mo-
del for the global network and an organization with members that are proud to be
part of it.
And there could be not a better person to take this further on and make us all proud
than my amazing successor and team mate, Dženita!
So, keep calm, you are in good hands!
