ai-one’s Application Tools

• BrainBrowser – enables users to analyze a document and “find something like this”

• BrainDocs - uses personal intelligent agents for finding and organizing content by concept “idea”

• BrainView – create big brains from content or social media (sources: documents, user comments and review notes) to explore patterns and sentiment visually

Use them separately, together or interface programmatically to the BD Fingerprinting API

No programming or text analytics experts required

Use Case - Step 1 - Inspire

User is previewing a document in their

browser and is inspired by a concept (at the paragraph or

document level). User launches

BrainBrowser to

find other content“like this concept”.

Use Case – Step 2 - Discover

BrainBrowseranalyzes the

highlighted concept (by sending to the

Nathan artificial brain) and extracts the keywords for a

search on their Box enterprise account or

website. The search discovers a list of documents

relevant to the detected keywords.

Notice that the list of search terms are longer than the typical user-entered search string. These “keywords that matter the most” were automatically detected by Nathan.

… The import data feature provides

the ability for users to import data

into the Topic-Mapper data

structure. Users benefit by having a

user interface to import unstructured

data, rather than using a command-

line interface to insert data.

The view keywords feature provides

the ability for users to view a list of

keywords identified by Topic-

Mapper. Users benefit by having a

user interface to view the keywords

identified by Topic-Mapper, rather

than using a command-line interface

to view a list of keywords….

Use Case – Step 3 - Rank

Separately, BrainDocscrawls and fingerprints all of the documents from the

search results, identifies concepts within the documents (at the

paragraph or document level) that have a similar

fingerprint to the highlighted concept, and

ranks the list of documents in order of relevance. User may view a document or select to visually explore

the results.

The list of documents are sorted by concept similarity. The user can roll their mouse (or finger in case of a mobile app) over the list to preview the specific concept within the document.

Use Case – Step 4 - Select

If the user selects to view a document,

BrainDocsautomatically

directs the user to the selected

document in the search results.

Notice that the most relevant document was in the middle of the 1116 search results.

Use Case – Step 5 - Verify

User previews document and sees the similar

concept highlighted within the content.

Relevant concept is visible (and highlighted) in the document preview.

Use Case – Step 6 - Visualize

If user selects to visually explore the

results BrainViewdisplays a graphical view (force-directed

graph) of the conceptual patterns

within the documents (or paragraphs). Nodes within the graph link

back to source documents.

This is a graphical representation of the actual “fingerprint” of our /bin application text.

Use Case – Step 7 - Explore

User interactively explores the

visualization to find insight for

further research.

Users can interactively pan and zoom throughout the graph. Selecting a word will highlight associated words and provide the ability to navigate back to source documents.
