Production-sharingA production-sharing plan is where 3% of the gross sales from the production of agricultural lands are distributed within 60 days from the end of the fiscal year as compensation to regular and other farmworkers in such lands, over and above the compensation they currently receive, to be executed by individuals or entities owning such lands, or operating them under lease or management contract, pending final land transfer, provided that these individuals or entities realize gross sales in excess of P5M per annum, unless the DAR, upon proper application, determines a lower ceiling. The plan also provides that, in the event that the individual or entity realizes a profit, an additional 10% of the net profit after tax shall be distributed to the said regular and other farmworksers within 90 days from the end of the fiscal year.
