Before your choose an affiliate system, make sure you know what you want.

Write a list of what you want your affiliate program to be able to do and seek out the right solution.


#2: Affiliate Networks Aren’t For Everyone

Affiliate networks offer a full service package and will often attract new affiliates for you.

However, they can be quite costly. Evaluate whether your company can afford this service or not as changing later can be even more costly.


#3: Variety in Promo Tools

Make it easy for your affiliates to promote you. Regularly provide a variety of tools like graphics, text ads, videos, landing pages, pay-per-click ads, product reviews, social media updates and more.


#4: Actively Recruit

Don’t expect super affiliates to just come to you. Make a recruitment strategy to get new affiliates on board.


#5: Provide Training

There are many website owners who know how to attract an audience and have great influence in their market.

But just because they have an audience, doesn’t mean they have the product marketing skills they need…so provide them with training.


Tip #6: Competitive Commissions

Never promise more than you can afford, but be competitive with your commissions and offer other incentives to attract affiliates.

Your affiliates are busy, so stay in touch and provide new tools regularly.

If you keep giving them good stuff, they’ll keep promoting.


#10: Reward Good Performers

Pay attention to who is doing well in your affiliate program. Reward them with bonus commissions and other great perks.
