It is with great enthusiasm that ELOS announces the launch of a new line of supplements dedicated to the cultivation of plants in the Aquarium.

NEW: a cutting-edge formulation, the result of care-ful experimentation and research of the raw materials used.

VERSATILE: the high concentration of nutrients contai-ned in the formulations of ELOS ADVANCED FORMU-LA, allows a dissociated nutrition of aquarium plants, making it easy to use not only by the most demanding of aquarists, but also by the neophyte.

COMPLETE: the formulations that make up the line, allow separate measurement of the major macro-nu-trients (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium), along with iron and microelements, therefore enabling provi-sion for the specific needs of the Aquarium and plants grown within.

Through ELOS I share to the world market dedicated to aquarium plants, the need for a new line of supplements bringing synergy to the nutrition of plants in the Aqua-rium.These are not just fertilisers in the sense that we are accustomed to using, but are much more.ELOS ADVANCED FORMULA combines the knowledge of years of study from sim-ple hobbyist perspective, and careful experimentation in densely laid out aquariums - a new way of conceiving ‘fertilisation’. A full line of supplements capable not only of providing every element necessary for lush plant growth, but a real ‘program’, pro-viding if correctly used – a balanced and proper relationship between all nutrients.An easy and very focused program, avoiding the need for continuous measure-ments of individual parameters. Following the instructions in this brochure, provi-des the opportunity to know in advance - precisely and innovatively - the required amount of nutrient to be added in the Aquarium using the calibrated dispenser on each container.Just a few ml of product is required to achieve target concentrations much sought after by every aquarist. 1. NITRATO1. is a Nitrate supplement based on high-concentra-tion Potassium Nitrate. 2 ml of product (two strokes) provides a concentration in 30 litres of water of 10 mg/litre.

2. FOSFATO2. is a Phosphate supplement. 2 ml (two strokes) pro-vides a concentration in 30 litres of water equal to 1 mg/litre.

3. POTASSIO3. is a Potassium supplement. 2 ml (two strokes) pro-vides a concentration in 30 litres of water equal to 13.3 mg/litre (with addition of Potassium administered by F1, this ensures a concentration of 20 mg/litre).

4. FERRO4. is a supplement based on Iron Chelate. 2 ml (two strokes) provides a concentration in 30 litres of water equal to 0.5 mg/litre.

5. MICRO5. is a supplement based on balanced chelated Mi-cronutrients. 2 ml (two strokes) provides in 30 litres of water, the correct balance of elements necessary for healthy, luxuriant plant growth.

6. RIGENERA6. is a supplement containing Calcium and Magne-sium to balance and re-mineralise osmosis water. 2 ml (two strokes) per 30 litres.

What I propose is a program that simply put, provides an Aquarium that is always well balanced in relationship to fish and plants.This last consideration - often overlooked - plays an important role for the suc-cessful propagation of aquarium plants, since chemical and physical equilibria are of paramount importance. It is therefore appropriate when considering the mineral nutrition of plants, to - as well as the chemical characteristics of the water used to fill the Aquarium - always keep in mind the elements already present in the Aquarium, and the effect of metabolites produced by plants and fish.In this context it is also important that the osmosis water - if used - be properly re-mineralised with (as proposed here) the new ELOS ADVANCED FORMULA F6.The diagram below, should be considered merely indicative, when taking into ac-count the above concentrations. Doses are per 30 litres aquarium water.

At the end of each week, it is recommended to replace no less than 30% of the aquarium water and re-mineralise (if by osmosis) the new water with F6. During the first 8 weeks, the progress of individual nutrient absorption should be monitored using the appropriate ELOS test. It is important to point out that the doses can be distributed freely throughout the week (eg: 2 ml in one solution, which is two strokes of 1 ml in two different days). It is also suggested that Phosphate and Nitrate (1. and 2.) should not be administered concurrently with administration of Potassium (3.) and Trace Elements (5.).

Iron and micronutrients can be doubled with a second dose after verification of the real absorption. Please note once again, that the doses shown can be distributed throughout the week as necessary while maintaining unchanged, the target concentration.
