The Air Ram Cylinder Since 1939, Air-Draulic Engineering’s Air - Ram cylinder has helped clear snow from New England highways. Developed by snowplow operators tired of the maintenance and cleanup associated with conventional hydraulic cylinders, the Air - Ram uses the truck’s existing air brake system, to power its 2” diameter steel piston. Featuring a cast iron head, precision machined push plate, and heavy duty seals, the Air - Ram is capable of lifting snowplows up to 12 feet in length and weighing up to 4000lbs with 100psi. Available painted black or primer red. Standard accessory kit for the Air - Ram. Custom Accessories Polished aluminum diamond plate body and bumpers for fire trucks, ambulances, and custom applications. Custom Plow Frames We manufactured custom snowplow frames for all makes and models. Most can be completed in less than 3 days. The Air Ram Cylinder
Since 1939, Air-Draulic Engineering’s Air - Ram cylinder has helped clear snow from New England highways.
