ADDENDUM NO.: Three (3)
DATE: November 3, 2011
The following items shall be considered part of the Contract Documents and shall be included in
same when Construction Contract is executed. Changes made by Addenda shall take
precedence over original Documents. Any changes, which may affect construction or proper
installation of materials, equipment or fixtures, not specifically mentioned in this Addendum, should
be brought to the attention of the Designer before submitting proposal. Otherwise, such conditions,
if found later to exist, must be worked out in an acceptable manner without additional cost to the
Owner. Contractors are hereby advised to call attention of all subcontractors to changes, which
may affect their work.
General
1. Plan and profiles of the Exxon/Mobile pipeline crossing are attached. The Contractor is to
cross the pipeline in accordance with CSK-08, CSK-09 and CSK-10. The electrical crossings
shall be encased in a schedule 40 steel casing. Welding requirements of the casing shall
be in accordance with ANSI/AWWA C206. Welders shall be qualified under the provisions
of ANSI/AWS D1.1. The exterior of the casing pipe shall be coated with coal tar epoxy or
bituminous asphalt. The ends of the casing pipe are to be sealed with end seals made of
synthetic rubber, conical shape, pull-on or wrap around style with Type 304 stainless
bands.
2. Exxon/Mobile will be reinforcing the pipelines under the entrance drive early during the
construction phase. The Contractor is to coordinate this work with Exxon/Mobil and
complete entrance drive construction after the Exxon/Mobile work. The Contractor is to
use an alternate construction entrance and will be required to use a construction mat air
bridge over the pipeline. See CSK-12 for location. No vehicle traffic shall be allowed over
Exxon/Mobile pipelines without notification to Exxon/Mobile of the crossing location and
inspection of the crossing by Exxon/Mobile prior to use. Exxon/Mobile shall require a
construction matt air bridge to be constructed over the pipelines. Construction matt air
bridge shall be based on pipe depth measured by Exxon/Mobile from one call
notification. Exxon/Mobile anticipates the air bridge to consist of a construction matt
base on either side of the pipeline with a matt spanning the pipelines. The bridge shall
be constructed so that no external loading is applied to the Exxon/Mobile pipelines. The
exact distance between mats shall be specified by Exxon/Mobile based on the field
verified location of the crossing.
3. No construction equipment is to be allowed on the Exxon/Mobile servitude. The
Contractor is to place and maintain orange plastic construction fencing on either side of
the pipeline servitude.

a heated and insulated fiberglass enclosure(s) (HotBox). The enclosure is to be
